Its personal taste a lot of the coasters he likes i find encrible boarring and some of the ones he doesn't really like i think the world of. He does make consistent comments so i can sort of figure out wich one i will like by how he dislikes them. Ok some are just bad and some of the ones he really likes i like to. But he does credit to his name floater airtime while fun is about the least of the really fun elements for me and for him they are probable the most importent one. I do have to say with the best and the worst clipps all of his picks are pretty much the same for me or at least very near to the top or bottom. With the worse ones i only think he picked a couple he hasn't experienced himself that truly don't belong there. Not that they are great coasters but its just that they have a higher profile so get bad mouthed a lot more.

@@HallknowsallVelosicoaster isn't Intamin's best, not even close. Intamin's best coaster is overseas, one most of us probably haven't ridden. I'd say Hyperion is probably Intamin's best coaster, but Flying Aces is also a strong contender. Coaster through the Clouds also looks really good. But if you prefer using a launch to gravity, Formula Rossa is probably their best coaster. Hydrolic launch at 240 and a full layout so it doesn't have the flaws of the 4 stratas plus Stealth, I mean it's literally the perfect launch coaster (but I understand with it being SBNO some might not want it here).

I'm with you. I like both forwards & backwards, but I think forwards has the overall slight edge. It has better forces overall, especially for that incredible sustained airtime on the spike, almost 7 seconds. You don't get that facing backwards. The advantages of the reverse is the unique backwards launch and the better view when going up the spike.

My favorite Arrow coaster is different, but that could be because I haven't gotten to ride Magnum. As much as I love X2 as an Arrow coaster, I would actually pick Shock Wave at SFGA as my favorite. It was so intimidating, with one of the sharpest looking paint schemes, bright, electric blue track and white supports. I am lucky enough to have ridden it when it was brand new and was super smooth. I was also lucky enough to have ridden Vortex at King's Island when it was brand new, but Shock Wave has the edge. I am eternally sad that I never got to ride Drachen Fire, but at least I still have Viper at SFMM.
@MattMcIrvin5 ай бұрын
My coaster experience is pretty limited so there are only a few manufacturers from which I've even ridden multiple coasters, but for those, I can pick a favorite: - Arrow: Loch Ness Monster, BGW. Great use of terrain, one of the most photogenic coasters ever made, and the elements are restrained enough that Arrow's lack of heartlining isn't a problem. - Vekoma: Expedition Everest, Disney's Animal Kingdom. Extravagant Disney theming and a layout that contributes, with a dark backwards track section including an intense helix. The yeti's been broken since shortly after it was installed, but the whole experience is strong enough that you don't care much. - PTC: Mr. Twister, Elitch Gardens. This was a diabolical ride, and it ran with only a buzzbar, though it focused more on laterals and surprises than airtime. - Intamin: Superman: The Ride, SFNE. Still a classic hyper. The restraints don't bother me that much. - B&M: Shambhala, PortAventura. This now seems like it was preparation for building gigas. Visually beautiful, unusually large hyper with lots of graceful floater air and a unique turnaround that probably inspired Fury's. - CCI: This one's hard. The two I've ridden are Boulder Dash and Stampida. Boulder Dash is by far the more epic of the two, and the first time I rode it back around 2012, it was great. But the last time I rode it the ride had deteriorated and I definitely enjoyed Stampida more than that. I'll give it to Boulder Dash out of sentimentality and hope.

I'm so glad to see RTH on here. I think that this ride is so much perfect...it has the perfect level of intensity in my opinion and it's also aestetically beautiful. The elements of the first half of rth are more about fun and disorientation than intensity , and this is good because you can enjoy more the intensity of the 2nd half without being too sick after those in the 1st, and the intensity just keeps building up! Also, while the 2nd half focuses more on airtime, the 1st is more about hangtime and positives, so there's a combination of every force you could have in a coaster, toghether with the out of control feeling, without being too much or too monotonous (like only focusing on airtime or only inversions). If you put more elements in the same lenght for making the ride more intense, they risk to be too next to each other and, combined with the spinning, you are probabily not able to enjoy each one, because they're blended together. There's too much happening. And you'll probabily end up being sick at the end of the ride, so it won't be so re-rideable. And considering this ride is already too intense for many people, I think that "more intense" doesn't mean "better". Of course the layout could be even more extreme on paper, but remember that's not a ordinary coaster. The fact of being always different and re-rideable, of not being too intense (for many people it still is), of having a mix of all the forces you can imagine on a coaster and giving you that out of control feeling with some of the craziest elements ever are the things that make rth perfect in my opinion. This combined with the Tomorrowland theming, which is very unique and lovely.

Gravity Gorup- Voyage- Another Easy choice 7. GCI- Wood Coaster- Another Easy choice 8. Vekoma- Lech Coaster- I've ridden FLY, great coaster but I think Lech Coaster just looks super intense. Will ride it next month. 9. Morgan- Phantom's Revenge- Easy choice. Very underrated coaster 10. Arrow- X2- Slightly prefer it to Magnum 11. CCI- GhostRider- Easy choice. If they could get Shivering Timbers to be smoother it could give it a run for its money. 12. Gertstlauer- Karnan- Easy choice. I'm not much of a Gerstlaurer fan so this may be high on some others list. 13. PTC- Phoenix- Another easy choice 14. Zamperla- Top Thrill 2- Grading it as if it is on par with the original. It could move up a spot or 2 once I ride it. 15. Giovanola- Anaconda- This invert looks to be one of the best in the world Just missed: Pax- Wild Train

Regarding Wiegand, I still think Trapper Slider at Fort Fun Abenteuerland in Germany might be their best one. It might be far off from their longest ride, but a full speed run on this is just wild, some sections of it have so many rapid fire mini-drops that it becomes hard to keep your feet inside the sled and you are fairly close to the trees, bushes and rocks that it truly enhances the speed. And to top it all off, during their Halloween Event you can even do Night Rides on it.

Just rode T-Express in the last couple of weeks. While still undeniably a fun ride, it was far from hitting nearly as hard as I would have hoped or people have predicted. The new RMC section was smooth and easily had the best airtime. The rest of the ride was extremely sluggish with weak pops of airtime at best and was still bumpy to rough. Got three rides on it throughout the day, which was a hot one. Despite the roughness, El Toro was definitely stronger and better the last time I rode it in 2021. Also rode Eejanaika on the same trip. Tornado for Pinfari? Odd choice, heard it was one of the roughest coasters on the planet. Theme Park Crazy did a video on it titled "The WORST Roller Coaster Ever" That said, it was relocated to France a couple years ago (and renamed Gotham), it's supposedly running a bit better now.

Steel vengeance was designed by the ultimate enthusiasts for enthusiast. Its been six years now... and the most air time on a coaster has not been broken since.

Picking tornado as Pinfari's best coaster is a bold choice. It's widely considered one of the worst coasters in Europe, and is featured in multiple failed coasters videos.

Do you think you can do a vid on every company's worst coaster? **If you made this back in like 2015 or before you rode Steel Vengeance/when El Toro was your #1, do you think it'd be ironic that Intamin would've had your most fav and your least fav coaster ever?**

Battle of Jungle King is rough AF, I honestly liked Jinma's family rides more. Also in my personal humble opinion I prefer Python in Bamboo Forest over Wood Coaster mostly because of the length. But I have never ridden Wood Coaster with a full train so take my word with a grain of salt.

I never got to ride Mind Bender, but I just rode All American Triple Loop with those trains. It was beyond terrible with the headbanging. I can't see how Mind Bender could have been any good with them. I would probably go with the SFOG Riddler if I had the credit, but for now I am going with Scorpion.
@mikeblatzheim27973 ай бұрын
Apparently Triple Loop has become worn out due to being run faster than designed in Mexico. Olympia Looping (arguably the actual best Schwarzkopf) still is incredibly smooth with the same design of trains, even though it pulls over 5g in several places. And that coaster has been travelling across Europe for over 40 years

Here's an idea for a list: cloned coasters. What's the best coaster that exists in two or more locations? Would it be all the Batman clones among all the SF parks? What about Gerstlauer Eurofighters? Would either of Vekoma's notorious pair (Boomerang or SLC) be at the bottom?
@zacg_5 ай бұрын
The original Raptors would most likely win. Here are a few more. -Manta has a clone in Japan -I-Speed has a clone -I count TMNT Shellraiser as a Takabisha clone - I'll always take a B&M Batman clone -I personally like the S&S 4D free spins quite a bit -A bunch of new Vekomas have clones in Asia -Mr Freeze -The Flight of Fear clones And then there are the near clones like Mind Bender and Quimera, TTD and Kingda Ka, Wonder Woman and Jersey Devil, Rock N Rollercoaster and Xpress Platform 13...etc. I guess you'd have to decide some kind of criteria for being or not being a clone. I mean, if you wanted to get super nitpicky you could argue that every Raptor is a unique layout but that would be a bit silly.

@zacg_3 ай бұрын
@@zacharyyamashita8554 I enjoy those but I was trying to focus on ones that would make a list of the very best clones and i just don't think the Skyrocket 2 model would. That's why I mentioned only the new Vekoma clones without referencing older Vekoma clone formats. I did mention the 4D Free Spins but with the caveat that I personally really like them.
