AirTouch N30i - Demo and Review - Can Fabric Work?

I absolutely love mine. Got it a couple of weeks ago. Very few leaks, excellent comfort, and improved frame compared to the AirFit N30i, especially with the fabric cover, which makes it much quieter, and does not leave marks on my face.

I supervise a sleep therapy dept and use a CPAP personally. This mask has been amazing since I started using it! Really lightweight and soft to the touch. Also, like you said, it seals so well even with some higher pressure settings!! Sometimes I wake up and get concerned briefly bc I don't think I'm wearing it till I come all the way to lol High marks all around from me.

I have been using this mask for a month or so now. I had been using the Dreamwear for quite some time, and had to wear satin covers all around (to avoid hair breakage) and use hair clips to keep it down in the back. Then I tried the Resmed AirFit , but still had to wear the satin covers, as it broke off my hair on top. When it came time for insurance to pay for another setup, I decided to try the Air Touch. It fit perfectly without any clips or satin to prevent hair breakage. I just couldn't get the nose holes to work, as I was used to the cutout all the way across.. Soooooo, I cut out the middle of the nose cushion, and it made a heck of a difference. I can now breath, even if the cusion moves a bit. Now the Air Touch is a big winner for me. I haven't decided whether to put the mask in my Hurricane Dryer or not. I clean the nose cushion every morning, pat it dry, and let it sit out the rest of the day.

I ordered the airtouch n30i. Can't wait to use it. Currently using the airfit P10, which feels uncomfortable on the nostrils and cheeks. Plus, the p10 tube sometimes ends up tugging on the nasal piece, causing it to leak.

It is very good for side sleeping. Doesn't move as much as other masks when I turn on my side.

I have the air fit N30i with a Pillow as well and while sitting on the edge of the bed. It is silent. But the moment i lay on my side. I can hear a lot of air rushing through that hollow frame. My top apap pressure runs about 10.5cm.

Just got the N30i as my first mask and I like a lot of things about it, but I'm having difficulty exhaling. EPR set to 3. How would you say this compares to other masks in terms of ease of exhaling? I don't have anything to compare it to and wonder if I need a different style of mask or it's just simply an acclimation problem on my end and it doesn't get easier with other options.

Most people will swap to a more traditional style nasal if they can not tolerate the Cradle or the Pillow style on exhalation. Two options would be the N20 or the Eson 2. The quite airvent gets wet each time I wash the mask, you cant use until its fully dry inside it. Even if you remove it before washing it will get glogged up with water from the mask and its very noisy when your sleeping. Its very frustrating and takes ages to dry off. Any ideas with this issue? Thats my only problem with this mask.

I get that for sure. I think that if you like the mask it is probably worth the investment in an extra replacement cushion or two. I usually take out the little air vent in the middle of the cushion before I wash it. I haven't noticed water going there from the frame if the frame has been hanging to dry all day. i just make sure I blot the fabric on the cushion well after I wash it, so it doesn't take long to dry. (I also blot the fabric on the frame before hanging it to dry. Paper towels or a clean hand towel work fine for this.) Good luck with it. So far, i have tried about 10 masks, and I love this one the most.

Where are the leaks coming from? You are using the fabric cushion?
