I am in love with this mask! I have been wearing it for almost a week am already sleeping better. I work in DME and have been a CPAP user for 3 years, so I have been able to try tons of masks and this one is the most comfortable that I have found, I no longer wake up with air leaking into my eyes while I sleep on my stomach. The Airtouch N30i seals extremely well for me and I get far fewer leaks than with the silicone cushion. I can't wait to get these on my patients😃

I am buying that now! I am allergic to silicone so I've been using a fabric mask (Sleepweaver Elan) and have been waiting for more fabric-covered masks. Not to sure about the top mounted part, but it's worth giving it a shot.

First thought I had was how do I properly wash this frame. I wish cpap companies would really think about practicality and longevity of the pieces. I can totally see my face breaking out if there is any soap or residue leftover on the fabric touching the face. Personally, I’m pretty tired of replacing saggy frames and nose pieces and an improvement on that would have been highly welcomed. Great they thought about comfort, but hygiene and durability are important as well. Glad the cons were mentioned here though.

I have the ResMed P10 mask, Google it. It is nothing like this. The P10 is a very thin headband which is removable and washable. I would never wear anything as large as what this guy is showing. The headband for the ResMed P10 is removable and very comfortable. Good luck with your treatment. The sleep lab I used tried something like what's featured in this video and it was just too big and bulky for me, they tried something else and then finally they came up with the P10 and I am very thrilled with it.

@@j.darrel517 I love the straps on the P10 but dislike the nose piece. I just don’t like the pillows inside my nose cause those make my face hurts so much. I need the air to go in slowly and not forced inside immediately. But every mask has its cons. To be honest, I hate them all. I wish someone would made my perfect mask.

Resmed posted a video on their channel. You can wash everything unlike the memory foam cuahiona

We do offer removable covers for this style mask and have for a few years now. Ours are washable and removable and can be used with this mask.

I have been using the resmed Air Fit F20 for years. However, it always leaves red marks on the bridge of my nose. Unfortunately a red sore appeared on my nose, so I stopped using this full mask. I switched to the Air Fit F30, so far seems ok, although few sensitive areas on the inside of my ears. Looking at your video, I really like the soft liners on the straps which should feel more comfortable. So may consider trying this one out. Thanks👍0:58

I hate the way the N30i tugs my hair when i need to adjust it at all. Otherwise I love it. I may be upgrading to this frame in the future.

Have they switched out the mesh in the nosepart?

Personally I like the air fit N30i but I LOVE the Phillips Dreamwear nasal cushions. I hate how hard the plastic diffuser is on the N30i cushion whereas the Dreamwear's cushion is all silicon which allows me to sleep on my stomach comfortably because the cushion is just so much more malleable. I do wish the Dreamwear's headgear was the accordian style like Resmed's.

How did it feel in the exhalation phase? I'm new to CPAP and testing ResMed P10, find it difficult to get used to the "counter-preassure" during exhale.
@thecpapstore24 күн бұрын
Way better than P10. P10 is one of the hardest to exhale due to the plastic mesh diffuser. N30i uses a top mounted exhaust port and front mounted filter diffuser. If you like the P10 for other reasons, try to turn on your EPR to level 3 and see if you notice a difference. (disclaimer: always consult doctor before making CPAP changes)

I had the very same problem with the exhalation pressure. But it is not the fault of the mask, but rather the setting on the machine. There is something called the epr exhalation pressure release, my doctor had ordered that setting to be far too strong and I couldn't tolerate it, I was unable to exhale. When I complained about this to the technician he told me that exclamation pressure release should be set to number three which makes it much easier to exhale. My doctor followed the technicians recommendation and ordered the change and now I can breathe so much better. It was my first experience with CPAP and I didn't understand what was happening at first so I was lucky that the technician explained this epr setting to me. I recommend you contact your technician and your doctor's office and tell them that you can't exhale properly, they will know what to do. Good luck. I've only been on CPAP for a little over a month and of course it was an adjustment but I'm actually seeing the benefits and very comfortable with my P10. Good luck stay with it and just keep demanding answers when something isn't comfortable for you don't tolerate it, just keep pushing, talk to your equipment supplier technician, and your doctor or nurse and just keep communicating with them what you feel uncomfortable with. They will have suggestions.

Which size Airtouch n30i cushion is equivalent to the Airfit n30i SMALL cushion? Is there even an equivalent?

Where can I return a resmed mask in Australia? The silicon above the nose was way too thin and has split.

I need that head piece for my p30i. As a bald man the airfit sticks to the top of my head.

Never thought of that! That could be a game changer.

This should be interchangeable, you would just get rid of the cushion that comes with the frame

Would this mask be easy to put on with one hand? I’m having rotator cuff surgery and won’t be able to use one arm for a while.
@crystaldugger137122 күн бұрын
This mask can definitely be put on with one hand once you get the straps set. But it isnt as easy as something with a little more structure like the Evora nasal or Solo.

Noooooo, nothing beats the ResMed P10 ! The headband is so thin, unobtrusive and very comfortable I look at what this guy is showing and it's just too big and bulky I would never wear that.

I really want to love the P10, but the material digs into the inside of my nose and iritates it. Also, the air going straight to my brain makes my nose feel like its cold! Any suggestions?
@crystaldugger137122 күн бұрын
@@davileett1224 possibly a larger pillow size, it shouldnt go up the nose. for cold air, turn on warmup ahead of time on resmed machines.
