Well said. Not only should OP go no contact with her mother, she should also put her wedding on hold, move with her fiancée to another state, have a courthouse ceremony to legalize the marriage, and then, resume her wedding in Milan, Paris, the Caribbean, or Bora Bora. Who knows?

I'm truly sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing with your mother and her behavior. It's understandable to prioritize your peace and boundaries, especially on such a special occasion. "Not my fault" hardcore alcoholic mother who blames her divorces because the men didn't have enough money to give her what she demanded---that ain't the sort of woman who is either a good mother or wife or just person. No responsibility and too damned selfish.

(1 story) him adding all the actual bad shit after acting like she was just a woman who dated many men (which isn’t a bad thing) is interesting. The woman lost my respect after hearing that she put her partners over her children (my biggest ick) so he wouldn’t even be the asshole if he even didn’t invite her.

Wow, this video was really eye-opening! I never thought about the complexities of family dynamics in such a personal setting. But honestly, I think banning any partner from a wedding can be extreme. Everyone deserves a chance to be there, even if the relationships are rocky. I mean, it’s supposed to be a joyous occasion, right? I wonder if there could've been a way to bring everyone together instead of creating even more tension. Just my two cents!

what a captivating video! it really sheds light on a complex situation. personally, I think banning someone from a significant event like a wedding can create more tension than it's worth. while it's understandable to feel uncomfortable with a parent's partner, maybe having an open conversation would be a better approach instead of outright banning him. just my two cents!

What an interesting take on a very complex situation! I appreciate how you presented both sides. Personally, I believe that family dynamics can get really tricky, and while it’s totally understandable to want a stress-free wedding, banning someone might come off as a bit extreme. Couldn’t there be a way to set boundaries without completely cutting him out? Just a thought!

Could have made things more believable. Alimony stops when the receiving spouse moves in with a new partner- marriage is not required to stop alimony. Basically as soon as she moved in w his brother & parents the courts would not have even touched the issue of alimony

this video was really well put together and gave a lot of insight into the situation. I have to say, though, I don’t completely agree with the decision to ban the boyfriend. weddings should be about love and unity, not dividing families, even if there are personal differences. just feels a bit extreme to me.

this video was really engaging and gave me a lot to think about. while i totally get wanting to keep your wedding day special, i can't help but feel that banning a family member's partner might be a bit extreme. isn’t it important to try and include people, even if they aren't the "best" fit? just seems like it could create more drama in the long run.

No. The mum is am adult and can communicate these problems herself. She chose not to, and instead manipulate her children. She fucked up over and over and made no changes or attempts to change or even address any issues. This was 100% the mums fault. She clearly never acted like a responsible adult or parent. Op deserves peace and is not responsible for her parent.
