What makes it worse is that the father wasn't even gonna tell the kids the truth and tarnish her.. She could have just let them think they decided to divorce for a reason that doesn't alienate dad....

NTA. 15 and 12 are more than old enough to be told the truth, especially when the niece and nephew are insistent on retelling their mother's version of events. Lisa doesn't get to talk about her relationship with her children being ruined when she was doing the exact same thing to her ex-husband. This is typical cheater behavior, make excuses and put the blame on everybody else.

I don't understand why you have to lie who did what or wrong, if it destroyed their family, the kids need to know. I think they are old enough (unless they're toddlers).
