You still call her a great wife? I would even argue since she shows no respect to her child's father she really be a great mom. You knew you didn't want to be with anyone else but you allowed an open marriage, essentially it's just you giving her the green light to bang other dudes. You are the AH for allowing the marriage to be opened in the first place and for giving your 304 wife hope. You know good and well that there is no way you can ever get back to the way you were before. Even though you do not know the details you do know she has been ran through for the last year. Not only that but you also know in the future she can ask to turn on the open marriage switch, even though she said she wouldn't but I mean she went back on her vows already, surely she can go back on that little promise and besides you already allowed it once, right? OP should end it now and get it over with instead of dragging it out.

You say it did not bother you, but it obviously did, immensely. You've been with this POS for 17 years, and you just "forgot" her birthday? I was born at night, but not last night.
