Hey, thanks for the video. My buddy at work is thinking about dropping hundreds or more on a professional installation of a new sound system into his ambulance which could potentially get assigned to some one else (good bye money). Being that its an ambulance I think it could fit pretty comfortably in the space between the cab and the patient compartment. do you think one, or two of these would satisfy his thirst for bass and boom? Would it fill the whole space with sound? Can it handle being at max volume without cracking? He's just not convinced these can do it, hes kind of an audio junky but i cant let him install a sound system in the ambulance. Or is there an even better option?

It's possible your eq settings were lowered making it very low. Make sure your bars are all 90 Percent. Sounds amazing.

Chris Pagliuca Aiwa hands down. The deepblue2 fails to reach deep bass and it sounds really strange, and it isn't battery operated so it needs to be plugged in which loses the portability. The Sonos Play 5 doesn't sound nearly as good as the Aiwa.

I have a pair. They sound incredible outdoors in stereo - WHEN THEY WORK! The TWS pairing is terrible, the one which is set as the satellite speaker cuts out randomly all the time. Aiwa customer service is useless, their reply to my complaint was "it happens from time to time"!

@@Pupenhausen I have four of them! I sure wish I could combine all at once that would be really incredible! And I don't know if you know this not open up a can of worms with you but different firmwares sound different on these! the original firmware is of I believe 3.42 sounds considerably better than the newer ones that they ship with. The new ones limit power output I've had both on mine and I dialed it back to the earlier firmware and it made a big difference. Having multiple units I was able to do an A/B comparison and there was the earlier firmware made a huge difference in the sound and Awia is aware of this. I originally updated the firmware figuring newers always better but it throttles the power it's much louder with the original. I haven't thought about this in years considering I've had them since they've came out.🤗😇😉

@@bigjay1970 4 would be amazing together. You could actually link them up through a 4 way aux cable direct from your phone, but you might need a line level amp to boost the signal being split 4 ways. When I got my first one the firmware was on 4.53 but the second was on 4.58. There was a TWS pairing update between these firmwares but it only made the dropouts slightly less frequent. Sometimes they will go all day without a single dropout and other days it's every few seconds, very annoying. Regards the sound difference, there is a compressor/limiter built into the later firmware, that's why 3.42 sounds better. There is another 4.58 firmware on the Aiwa site which removes the compression, but obviously this removes the speaker protection with a 'use at your own risk' disclaimer. I don't run mine loud enough to warrant the risk to be fair.

someone said this to me I will say the Aiwa perform best indoors but the Diamond Boxx have a bit higher dB which translate to more louder of course, if i were you, if money is not a big issue then go for Diamond Boxx cause of the portability and loudness if you must have a speaker right now then Aiwa is the way to go, that's honest opinion,thank's for the compliment by the way.
