I've been wanting to visit Aix-en-provence since quite some time now and yes, I've been wanting to take a train as well. Wow, the train definitely looks luxurious. Its so funny, you trying to hold your sneeze. Those little streets & those little restaurants are so adorable!

Loved the well-positioned slow-mo shots to give it that good contrast. She looks great on camera. The south of France looks like a romantic getaway with the little restaurants and shops to hang around in.

We loved Aix and yes it is a super cheap area to stay in off season. Full of university students - many are Americans studying abroad. Funny no one mentions that Paul Cezanne (famous post impressionist artist) was from Aix. A short walk from the centre of town you can visit and walk around the studio he had build, where he spent the rest of his day - he was a real home town boy.

Thank you for your videos guys! I’m planning a trip to France, especially Provenance region. How long is the train from Paris? Is it a direct one? Loving the food recommendations!
@TheNearAndAway4 жыл бұрын
I'm glad the video helped! I think the direct TGV from Paris to Aix was about 4hr, maybe a little less...but it was such a scenic train that we didn't mind the time at all! Have a great trip! It looks like we might be back in the South of France in April!

Is the cost of living there much cheaper? I mean the Rent, foods, Restaurants? My employer is planning to move there from Paris and continue their business next year and propose me to come with them. I'l still thinking about it.

May I ask how much is train fare in Euro - € per pax. I'm planning to head to Paris+Provence next year with BFFs. Thks!!😘
@TheNearAndAway5 жыл бұрын
We booked 1st class seats at the last minute, so it was kind of expensive (80€ per person) and we did get a ticket for our dog that cost 7€. If you book ahead of time, it's way cheaper. I think 2nd class is only like 25€ per person. Hope that helps!

I was there for two weeks...nothing to do but drink coffee in outdoor places....or pay excessive prices for clothes....few speciality places to eat for Pizza etc....few people other than some college students speak English...Tourist Center had one who spoke basic english......big waste of time.....the cab driver could not find the studio bldg I rented and so I missed my flight back to the US and had to buy a $700 ticket to get home as I had to go the next day...he did not speak English and all the drivers the day before, that you find around the traffic circle refused to take a reservation to pick me up the next day.....
