I buy this station two weeks ago. My personal issue - inability to calibrate the tip and remember several tips. This is a very important function for Chinese stings, and most stations have this function. Second strange issue -you can not power off this station while power cable is plugged in (described in this video). Very raw software

I think this is a great portable / semi temporarily solution when having to do some more substantial work/repair

How does this compare with "portable irons" like the ts100, ts101, and secure sq-001? Never understood the need for stations, but I'm genuinely curious what advantages this offers, other than a stand

This is really a portable bench iron. It’s not for field use unless you have a lot of work to do. For moving around the workshop it’s great.

Main advantage of stations is the huge amount of power they can dump into the iron, along with easier controls and presets due to a range of buttons, a nice big display and better safety and longevity due to the larger amount of space for higher quality and larger components. Handheld usb-c irons are fantastic for simple/small work, but when doing lots of soldering with different tips for hours a day, they simply don't work well enough, comfortable enough and reliably enough for many people. The ergonomics on station handles are also much better because they can be lighter due to being hollow inside, as the components are all in the station

I agree, but this product is in a slightly different space... Sure the TS100, SEQURE SQ-001, PINECIL, etc, are truly portable and all work great. But they are suited for a really quick soldering job... This is more of a portable/semi temporarily soldering station which would be awesome when having to do a larger job when you have to travel to do the work

TS soldering tips are beyond crappy. The worse tip-to-grip distance of all cartidge standards. Horrible accuracy. How people can do soldering on these when JBC tips exist is beyond me.

Just put a ts100 in my bag. This is unneccesary.

You got iron os installed yet? For me it made a world of difference it heats faster and can go up 50c higher which makes soldering an xt60 a breeze

@CyberdeckCafe not yet will give it a look apparently you can put your logo on the screen too 😅

Ts100 doesn’t have great tip to grip and doesn’t have huge tip selection, if someone wants something portable then type c iron that uses jbc c245 tips is the way to go
@jiatan_fpv8 ай бұрын
To me the only reason to get an Aixun station is to be able to use genuine T245 JBC tips. And this one doesn't support them, pass.. Oh, and why would anyone get a portable battery powered station? Am I to believe that people carry soldering stations to solder motors when out flying?? Just use a cheap $12 SH72, gets the job done just as well with enough flux :)

Don't like the position of the Iron holder... too much chance of hitting the Display and damaging it. $100.00 USD plus $41.00 Shipping to Canada for the least expensive option. What kind of Flux are you using on that coin ? 15:55...With that tiny small mass tip you might as well try soldering to a Train Rail.😉
