I think what everyone is missing with BYU’s sudden emergence in recruiting the big stars is the following. Lot’s of the big name schools have always found ways to pay the big name athletes. BYU, being a strict religious institution, was not able to…….and chose not to, 17:56 operate in those grey area’s. NIL leveled the playing field by making it completely legal ( for now) to pay the athletes. BYU has always had big boosters and they can now help land the big names.

Are going there to win a championship no you can go anywhere and get to the nba hell he would probably be drafted high this year if nba allowed him to be drafted. He went to a place that can offer him a huge nil bag that other schools wouldn’t because they can’t spend it all on one guy.
