AJ debuted during the Rumble 2016 ( January 24 ) , and WWE used Evil Ways literally a few days later ( during February 2016 ) , to promote the Wyatt Family feud against team Kane ( which can also be heard during Fastlane 2016 on the promo before their match ) . I'll remember that forever. When I saw it back then, I was like " Wait ! WWE got the rights for Evil Ways, but didn't gave it to AJ ?! They gave him a crap theme that would only fit for a jobber, only to use his actual theme to promote a nothing feud with zero interest ? Ayo WWE, WTF are we doing here ?! " . Knowing WWE could get the license for Evil Ways, only to waste the song to promote a nothing feud. There's not a single valid reason for them to not give AJ his Evil Ways theme back, instead of always giving him the worst trash possible. It's licensed ? Good. They didn't mind wasting money by paying for the license so they could use the song for a nothing feud. Which means they can definitely pay the license so they can use it as AJ's theme too.

I can relate to what he's saying. Imagine working retail, and hearing the same 10-20 songs on a loop all day, every day, every day, every day, every day, every day. You think I'm being dramatic by typing "every day" so many times, but I only typed it 5 times. That's how many days most people work in a week. Now imagine if I typed "every week" 52 times to represent how many times they STILL hear the same god damn songs over and over and over. AJ only had to hear the song 1-3 times a week. Plus again if he won. But he's not hearing it all day. Still though, I can relate to songs getting repetitive.
