4:10 During this part of the interview, AJ basically foreshadowed some of TNAs biggest stars deciding to eventually leave the company. It’s mad that within two or three years, Sting, Angle, Joe, Roode, The Dudleys, Daniels and Kazarian and the MCMG would’ve all followed in AJs footsteps.

He's said they offered him 200k per year in an interview. If they'd even offered him the 400k+ year he was on he may have stayed. In his first year in WWE he made 2.6 million dollars. AJ leaving is why I finally gave up on the a few years ago, I've started watching back occasionally now. But him leaving, the faces of TNA all leaving because they aren't getting paid. The reasons TNA is where it is today, not getting paid. That's not only disrespectful to them but also their fans as well. Saying the guys that you've supported for a decade aren't worth it. So I left a little bit after when AJ left, and by then I was only sticking around for him and Joe and Daniels and Aries. But literally one by one they all gave up, so I did too.

AJ Styles was 1 of the few good reasons to watch TNA in the beginning along with guys like Samoa Joe , Homicide, Christopher Daniels ,LAX, AMW and so forth . They had a few good years (2005-2010) on Spike TV but when Hogan and Bischoff came in and started ruuning things that`s when it started going downhill when they brought in ex WWE and WCW guys thinking that they would get big payoffs and literally turning into WCW Version 2.0 and pushing the guys that made TNA different in the background then when Hogan left it was a shell of a company and people were leaving right and left to where it is now barely surviving no wonder guys like AJ left . Besides he pretty much had done eveything they could possibly do with him and he won every title that there was to hold there it was time for him to move on . Went to New Japan and dominated there holding the IWGP Heavyweight Title twice . Going to WWE and held the WWE Title 2 times , 3time United States Heavyweight Champion and current Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion i`d say that he showed that he didn`t need TNA holding him back cause obviously that he`s been successful outside of them .
