ABOUT SPEAKER
Ajahn Brahm is a popular Buddhist teacher to a growing international audience of people keen to learn meditation and develop a deeper spiritual understanding. He is also the founding father of an emergent Australian forest tradition of Buddhist monasticism focused on being true to the original roots of the Buddha’s Teaching of Dhamma and Vinaya. In addition, he is the Spiritual Adviser to the Buddhist Society of Victoria.

While registered as a Buddhist not-for-profit association, Buddhist Society of Victoria (BSV) welcome members of all backgrounds and religions.
Located in Melbourne, our East Malvern centre hosts programs that guide members on meditation; as well as practical Buddhist teachings for kids, teenagers, and adults.

What does Brahm "say" when he is trying to influence somone to trust his judgement, argument or idea.. When Brahm is convinced he is right and is trying to persuade someone, what he does is becomes very quiet and very serious, he will present his argument in a very sensible way and then usually follow that up with some standard Buddhist philosophy. ❤

I used to love listening to brahm until last several years he started bashing Trump who is a wonderful person I love both of them but not brahm for bashing trump. Trump would never bash brahm

Old monk is teaching to smile deliberately. Any deliberate effort is artificial and goes against the spirit of meditation. Don't mean any disrespect. But listen to Jiddu Krishnamurthy instead. This one seems to lack true depth.

Krishnamurthy is not the man he portrayed to the world. ...I am not saying he is not wise. But to be honest is not very simple just trust all this gurus and teachers. Best thing to do is to do what the Buddha say...: do not just follow....enquire, investigate, weak up.
