The way my friend got his little girl to like video games is by letting his daughter to watch him play video games and also interact with his daughter every once in a while. Like when I came to visit, he was having his daughter sitting on his lap while he was playing Disney's Tarzan with his daughter and whenever he fell off and reacted, his daughter would laugh and then she'd try to play after her daddy failed. This has been going on since she was 3 and now she's 9 and enjoys playing video games together with her daddy.
