What makes these streams great is the interaction between the two really. I think Papa Macchia is funny alright, but if he was a solo streamer he'd just be like 90% of the others out there. The fact that this typical gamer dad is bouncing off a Vtuber is what makes it work. Even better that they are father and daughter so there is generally less tension.
