What i'm really missing in my Ajax security system is that the camera's do not give realtime feedback when someone or something is detected. I have 3 cameras around the house, one in the garage and i would like a realtime signal when someone is entering my garden or carports. If the AI can detect people or objects it would be perfect when i get a pop-up on my phone.

At the moment, Ajax cameras have a function of motion detection, they are sent to the Ajax app almost instantly as soon as such motion is detected To configure them, follow the following path: Devices - Camera - Settings - Notifications from camera detectors

Hi! Very nice updates. Looking forward to the continuation. Will support for pet, vehicle, person notifications/recordings be available for ONVIF cameras as well? Another feedback is that WiFi based cameras (2.4/5 GHz) would be nice for places where it’s hard to reach with PoE.

Thank you for your feedback! The People/Animal/Car Detection feature is available only on Ajax cameras. You can connect any IP camera via ONVIF and choose whether the detection will be performed according to the logic of the camera or the NVR to which the camera is connected.

Can you have 2 detection zones? First zone i want a notification of a detection and it has to record obviously second zone i dont want a notification but it has to record?

Hello, you can adjust in the camera settings. To do this, follow the following path: Devices - Camera - Settings - Detection - Motion Detection settings. There, you can use the user-friendly interface to select a convenient detection zone. It is not possible to record a specific zone. As an option, you can also use Privacy zones. With their help, you will be able to hide a certain part of the image. At the same time, all other functions will work

Very nice video, thank you for your work. However, I have a few questions: When will the entire product line be available? Could you provide more information about the mounting boxes? How much storage is needed to record a year’s worth of footage in an apartment with active cats? Will an NVR with one HDD be sufficient, or should I consider a model with two?

Thank you for your feedback. We can't share about non-released devices or upcoming features. We have a JunctionBox that you can find on our site. About storage: it depends on how long you want to record (all the time or in specific periods), what image quality you will use, what detection algorithms you will apply, etc.

You can connect any IP camera to Ajax via RTSP or ONVIF.

Hello, Ajax video cameras do not have this feature. If you need the device to take a picture when an alarm is detected, you can look towards such a device as MotionCam. This is a motion detector with photo verification. ajax.systems/products/motioncam/

Depending on whether you are adding the camera to the NVR or directly to the Ajax app, you scan the QR code behind the camera or monitor the network for available cameras. RTSP or ONVIF are not used here.
