Build a home for Ajay Loner and answering the most frequently asked questions I've received. 😌
I moved Ajay into 73 Road to Nowhere, the messiest looking Strangetown lot. 🫠 What was the assignment, Maxis? I can't tell, but halfway through demolishing walls I had a lightbulb moment and decided to go for a brutalist design.
In my game, Ajay is a slightly snobby aspiring architect who wants to make lots of cash money bling bling and, naturally, his house has to communicate his eccentric spirit.
Is he the most eligible bachelor of Strangetown? Will he hit it off with any of the single girlies in the hood? Or is he only interested in building a career and moving to a resort town to live his life near the beach? Can't wait to play with him and find out!!

Ajay is quite the Loner when the game starts out. And you're right. He is quite a blank slate and can do anything him. When he comes to Strangetown, Ajay was a Journalist interested in the Bella Goth sightings, and thought he could make it big. However, as time went by, he slowly got to know the community and found this 'strange little town', a lot more cosy than he initially thought. He got into a bit of a fling with Chole Curious, and that resulted in a child. This was quite a shock, but Ajay was a good father to his child, and he and Chole managed to make the co-parenting work. Ajay also was surprised to find that Bella Goth in Strangetown was a completely different person; "Belle Donna", but decided to keep it quiet as Belle didn't want the publicity and attention. Besides, the real Bella Goth was rediscovered anyway.

If you ever play Ajay I can see his basement becoming a hang out spot. There's more to do there than any other weird Strangetown community lot 😂

I can't wait to throw parties in his house, so many sims in such a small space, it's gonna be wild in there 🤭 And you're reminding me I have to check the community lots, I haven't bothered with them and they're probably just as empty as the Pleasantview ones.

I love seeing what people do with Ajay he’s such a blank slate/forgettable sim 😂 in my current game he’s a doomsday sim and very paranoid. I put him in the same lot!

You can clean the sim references out of a lot by using a tool but yeah packaging lots with more than a handful of CC is a pain lol

I figured out how to clean the sim references, but all the CC is just insane. Even the smaller lots package files are over 1GB that's just crazy 😵‍💫🥴

Yeah it gets pretty ridiculous, especially when you use Maxis recolors that don't package with it uuugh

You truly make this game your canvas for such spectacular work. I love this build, its surroundings and the rundowns you give which make the video so engaging. I really like the final result, esp the outside and patio. I usually move the Singles into this lot and AJ is kind of a boring guy in my game but he's growing on me. Wcif the living room rug and fireplace and the bedroom painting please! Also the projected downstairs and the light and glass door in the shower/ bath, pretty please. Thanks 😊

Hope everything is going well for you ❤ Your videos have inspired me to get back into Sims 2 after taking a small break from it and hilariously enough I did makeovers of road to nowhere 94 and 73 😂 I love your interpretation of Ajay ! In my game his boring guy persona is a cover up for his job as an intelligence agent who was brought to Strangetown by the government to investigate all the crazy stuff going on there (kinda like the role you have to John Burb in Pleasantview). I'm excited for your next videos !

Omg Ajay is so cute🥺 It makes me feel so bad that he has no friends in the beginning😅 Also I am SO happy that you finally did this house! I have been waiting FOREVER for you to revamp this lot because it was truly a mistake. A LAZY MISTAKE. And it is SO DIFFICULT to utilize it for any purpose. I love the idea of you turning it into a little hangout area for a guy with no friends🥹 And I LOVE the interior. It’s somewhat bland (like Ajay), yet intriguing… I’ve been playing Ajay the last few days in my game so I’m happy you did this video! In my game, Ajay works as an auto mechanic because he seems to like to fidget with things. One evening, Ajay went to the bar and got flirty with the bartender. He got her knocked up. He basically told her that he would take care of her and the baby if she quit her job; so she did. They lived in a tiny home in Strangetown and had a baby named Dante. They weren’t rich, but they had enough. Ajay’s wife sewed on the side for extra income and watched Dante throughout the day. When Dante was a teenager, Ajay made it to the top of his career and ended up doing a commercial that was supposed to result in 30,000 simoleons, but ended up resulting in 30,000,000 simoleons (glitch?). Anyways, they moved out of the little house, Ajay retired, and they had a fancy custom home built. His wife started drinking due to feeling like she could have done more with her life. She was a knowledge sim and felt she didn’t have a lot to show for it. She also automatically started to get a little flirty with others (drunk mod). One evening, she got so drunk that she drowned in the bathtub. Although Ajay deeply mourns, he is starting to date Kristen Singles. Kristen broke up with Chloe after she found out she was cheating all these years. Kristen moved in with Erin (ya know, long time besties). And the mysterious, rich widow named Ajay Loner lived next door👀

I usually play with original sims so I didn't know there was an "unspoken rule" in the community about which lot bin family should own a specific house. But following rules is boring anyways soooo😃😃😃

My gameplay style has changed, my game aesthetics too, and I regularly purge stuff that no longer resonates with me. For example, I haven't really kept much if any hair and clothing CC from those early days, we definitely have better options now :D

ahahahaha the look in the beginning was just the default replacements he ended up with. Since he doesn't really have an "iconic" look as some other premades I decided to get creative with him. I used skin overlays and scars to give him a unique look. And yes, we've got the Beakers left, but I'll probably do a let's play episode first. That castle intimidates me 😅

I don't have a hair system, I like too many different styles 😅I tend to pick n mix things. But for the most part I try to keep it maxis matchy, I think most of my hairs are in Remi’s and Poppet's textures and colors. Beautiful house! I love the brutalist style - I feel like this house with all the concrete would be lovely and cool in the Strangetown heat. I really like Ajay Loner. I always give him a nice group of townies to go on outings with in my gameplay. Great video!! ❤️
