Haha i had a huge obsession with downloading CC as a teenager playing the sims 2. I think it got to the point where i would spend more time downloading CC than playing the game! I had to delete a bunch eventually because the game was taking half an hour to load. 😅

SAME! My old family computer would take like 15 mins on each loading screen so it was like 30+ minutes just to get into a household and play xD it's a problem

It's like a whole new world! The fact that the game has so much CC/mods actually gives it longevity in the long run. There are new mods coming out to this day that elevate the way we play ts2 and give it a whole new twist.

Thank you. I've lost so much due to computer crashes and a divorce. I've been playing the game without CC but I miss it so much. Some of my favorites were Garden of Shadows, Mod the Sims, and Susa and Jope. I love this channel and appreciate you so much!!!!

@@bibipixels I still have 2 older hard drives that *might* be able to be resurrected to save some CC from like 2006-2009-ish which I know looks rough but its more for my own nostalgia lol. Thanks for doing this! I had about half of the things you listed. Most of it from Veranka as I also went through their whole Tumblr and pretty much grabbed everything haha. I didn't know about the Feenwald Metropolitan Set and I got that as soon as you started taking about it. All the picture and posters you talked about were also immediately added to my game. Thank you again for doing something like this. You said it took a while to compile all of this and I can tell. I really appreciate your hard work on this!

There is no need for a mod to recolor already purchased items; it's the design tool, which is a function of the game. On a windows pc/laptop press 'R' on your keyboard and click on an object, if it has recolors a window will pop up so you can select the recolor you want. I suggest getting this mod if you're playing on a higher resolution: modthesims.info/d/671320/wider-design-tool.html

OMG your content is amazing, I'm absolutely downloading most of these CCs, can you tell how you change the hight of the decorations? since there's no ctrl+9/ctrl+0 command for sims 2

Have fun with all of your new CC ❤️🔥 to shift objects up and down you need to have Apartment Life EP installed. You then use the bracket keys [ ] to move some wall hangings up/down walls. Additionally, I use a mod called Shiftable everything which lets you do the same with pretty much most objects in the game, much like you would in the sims 4: modthesims.info/d/670142/shiftable-everything-move-any-object-up-and-down.html
