@@jorgefernandez8728 None of your mentions have the physical presence of Gerrard. Modric is closer to be complete than Kevin, as Kevin is more of a pure CAM. But Gerrard could play like a world class CAM, world class CM and CDM. But KDB is definitely the best CAM of the three.

You dont even know the dictionary. Lol. Gerrard scores, long range strikes, headers, physical, skills, movement, speed, defending, tackling, passing also LEADER and INSPIRATION. He had EVERYTHING at an elite level. Gerrard is the most COMPLETE footballer ever.

He was a very good attacking midfielder who totally lacked positional discipline in the centre of the pitch, had poor judgement in terms of correct passing and could not tick the midfield over at all..He was very dynamic though...

Sven Erikson used to play a too rigid 4-4-2 with Gerrard at 6, limiting his forward moves and overall drive, shifted Scholes on the left wing where he was clueless and retired in 2006. Lampard as a number 8 or 10 lacked the pace, influence and overall activity and mobility of a player to dictate the game. This caused them to fail, as they were facing better organized teams.

Honestly, I should have gone for Scholes as number 6 , Gerrard and Lampard in more advanced roles, then Beckham right and Joe Cole left in a 4-5-1 formation. I'm not a manager though.
