Kraton XL - Suspension Upgrades

In this video AJ, walks you through the installation of the RPM arms and alloy hub carriers for the Arrma Kraton. This custom Kraton XL is based upon the Fireteam and now sports some pretty cool upgrades, the EXB chassis, shock towers, and chassis braces. Come along and see how we do it here at the channel.

its nice to see the newer RPM arms have the droop setting in them. the problem used to be that whole area on the RPM arm was missing so you couldn't adjust the droop. the suspension would over extend and axles would pop out. i had Rpm arms on my kraton a couple years ago and took them off put stock back on. they just weren't usable. maybe with these new ones that have the droop area back in them to mimic stock arms i might get a set again.

Awesome video, thank you for sharing your knowledge with the community, i have learned so much from your videos. I would like to widen my 3s big rock, i installed 17mm red wheel hubs, which A Arms can i use from another Arrma vehicle so i can widen my 3s big rock? A video of this would be great for the community. Thank you.

Im not a big fan of the rpm rear arms for the kraton. They seem very brittle. Ive jumped and flipped my kraton tones of times with the stock arms and didn't break. decided to upgrade to rpm and every run id break an arm on the smallest woops.

Dont get me wrong love the rpm fronts and everything else rpm makes but will never buy another set of rears for my kraton

Are the replacement rpm arms aluminum or composite? Which do you perfer and why? Great video!

You kept the spacers on the rpm front arms. Doesn’t it make the driveshaft pop-out when landing hard? Got the same upgrades but somehow they keep popping out.

Watched the video again, and saw the difference. The shock needed to be mounted on a different lower arm hole. Thanks for the video.
