Here's an overview of the overall best bashing platform for speed, ability, handling, versatility, and durability. I did replace my flexible front RPM control arms with stock ARRMA EXB arms right after this session. No more CVD's popping out from over-flex. Sweet ride dude 👍👍. My only large experience is a 1/8 Kraton v5 . It’s been a week and I learned a lot about tuning it and what people like through these vids . Thanks for taking the time . I really like this one and the rlaarlo cf Omni terminator is opposite of the kraton in that it’s smaller , quieter , really quick but acceleration is smooth and handling is superb for a little guy . Kraton is the love though . I like what you did here 👍👍

Always great content sick sends and informative breakdown of the rigs. Makes me love my XL's even more and the front to back is what I've been working on almost got it. Gotta trim those arms to keep the CVD's in. Aldo drills out the caps but I remove mine and take off 1 to 2mm. Good stuff man keep it rippin!

Thanks so very much Thomas 🤗. The Mojave has a unique longer front center driveshaft. Rear is the same as the Kraton. Really just need the Mojave chassis and front and rear chassis braces (Talion/Mojave style) and most definitely need a Mojave center top brace. The M2C rear tower supports greatly strengthens the entire rear.

Not necessarily, but you could run those or Outcast/Kraton shocks. Really depends on tuning mostly with dampening and personal preference.

Good work doopergiggles! The cackling hyena 😂 the v4 rpm arms are way too flexible for sure. The v5 rpm arms have done very well on the front for me but the rear v5 are glass. Use stock on the back

Thanks Brother, but I'm definitely not getting a Big Rock 6s. It was a scale effort, not performance focused for bashing and agility. The body weighs over 2 lbs 👀. Better tires would help, but that top weight robs agility and burst speed. Not my cup of tea. Add the ESC programming issue and it's a 100% no go 😂

The Typhon 6s was my first ARRMA back in 2016. Love the handling and ridiculous speed 😍. Only car that gets me 100% focused due to the twitch buggy responsiveness. My original Orange Darling was based on the Typhon or "Truggified typhon". Such a versatile little ripper!!! 🚀🚀

Yes I have put several videos out. M2C chassis, towers, braces, among other upgrades. I have 2 Truggified typhons. One is my wider "XL" with Mojave arms, links, shafts, and tires. The Typhon fly's like no other. Just have to gear up a bit for long jump speeds.

Thanks so much Shelby 🤗. The LP's are awesome for burst speed, drifting, and overall agility. I do prefer the standard Backflips on rougher terrain though. Honestly love both sizes, depending on terrain and mood really. Yes that's the Tamiya FO PS-24 backed with PS-1 white.

I got my first Outcast 6s in 2016 so yes 🤗. Same exact truck as the Notorious just a different body. I've had 3 since then, but only 2 in running form at the moment, my O6s EXB RTR and custom Outcast "Light" with lightened M2C chassis and Basherqueen carbon fiber parts. It was a Limited Edition O6s I customized.

The EXB V2 definitely has some nicer parts. The towers, servo saver, rear wing mount, emulsion shocks, and other bits. Just remember you'll need the Talion/Mojave style center braces and front center driveshaft.

With ur ultimate build, what kind of differentials did u use? Open or LSD and if LSD did u run them minimal or max?THX

I'm running standard 6s diffs. Just swapped in Mugen Seiki planetary shims and add the ARRMA outdrive cup shims. Also use 2-3 Tekno crown gear side bearing shims. When using EXB diffs, I use the open diff shim kit. Not a fan of LSD.

Working on my Mojave kraton hybrid maken a version 2 of it also. Not shore if i shore stick woth the older v4 style diffs of put the exb limited slip diff in i got while back for it. Havent had any problems with ye older versions, and have heard the limited slip diff have some problems an need plate taken out anyways. What your thoughts on diffs ??

I'm totally fine with the original ARRMA diffs and just tuning with the fluids. Honestly not a fan of the LSD friction plates.

Lol 😂 but still only broke very few diff parts. Mainly a pin or sun gear. Or diff case itself like I just did on my kraton v4 6s. Ripped whole rear tower off. Lol big air with super fast rotation was bad when catching the top the tower as it smacked on its top backwards. Wing mount already broken didn't help. Trying the newer rpm HD rear skid with brace to wing mount. See how it works soon. Great video as always bro.

Any recommendations for a decent 6s battery? I’m using a Sypom 6s in the sledge with a max 6 and I get about 5 minutes of run time before power cuts completely and there’s a flashing red light on my ESC. I’m not sure what the heck is going on. I used to run for 25 minutes on my max 8 G2 but now I can’t make it more than a few minutes. Temps are always low when it shuts off too.

Yeah that doesn't sound right. Hopefully it's not going into a faulty protection mode 🤔. I run mostly Ovonic 5200mah 80C single 6s packs and some smaller Zeee 4000mah 100C packs. Not a fan of big heavy packs.

I have some other brand that are 60C maybe I can try for comparison. I’m hesitant because hobbywing blamed me for my last esc catching fire for running only a 60C pack. Maybe it’s my esc causing the problem 🤔

Hobbywing should know full well 60C is an adequate discharge rating. I call BS if they're saying that. Ran 50C packs with my HW stuff for years with no problems. Try adjusting the LVC setting to low with the programming and running a newer pack if possible. Check your cell voltage once you hit LVC. If you don't have a voltage checker, make sure to get one. They're only 20$. I use mine constantly to see where my packs are at after running and during pit stops.

@@richduperbash2966 yeah it’s set on intermediate and it cuts at like 3.8 or so I noticed. It’s weird there’s a rapid red light flashing and it goes from full power to zero. There is no low voltage cut at all. They always blame my C rating and refuse to replace my esc’s so I don’t wanna pay for yet another one. They told me no lower than 100C and that my 15/54 gearing was too high and that’s why it caught on fire. I got sick of arguing with them about it. I’m about to just go with a MMX 8s and screw hobbywing. Thanks rich you’re the best

I think what you do would probably bend and wear down parts in an instant not to mention break them and cost dinero…. I use to throw money away at rc planes until I got sick of going broke…. Now I’m at it again but small 1/18th cars, much durable and cheap…. Also blowing lipo packs that cost 100 plus would not be good…

The smaller scales are super fun on the right terrain 😍. Everyone has a budget. The style of bashing in this session can get rough, but it's also a solid durability test as a long time aftermarket parts tester 🍻
