Because historically the Mongols never faced a one man army legend called the Ghost, they arrived at Tsushima, fought a bit and then got wiped out in a massive windstorm. Jin is supposed to symbolise that windstorm, which is why the more you fight to kill Mongols at all costs the heavier the storm because you become the historical storm that wipes the Mongols

I love this game. I really wanted to play it with the Japanese audio but the lip sync is off and takes me out, but the worst thing is that the subtitles don't match the dialog, like when he frees the lady at 2:14 is actually "I kept you waiting" but the subtitles completely changes it. These kind of nuances are important in dialogs, in my opinion, I hope in the next game they give two options for subtitles where one subtitle exactly translates from the dialog

yes i just recently started learning japanese and have been 100% kingdom hearts 3 and noticed the english subtitles were not matching the japanese audio which is pretty annoying seems its like this for a lot of games

It really depends on how they chose to do the localisation and how the translators decided to work. But in general, Japanese language is a lot more concise than English, so for time constricted media like film and video games, often you need to convey the meaning with another phrase in English that is short enough. Literal translations very often don't work for subtitles with Japanese language as a source material. Then again, I suspect on this game, the studio being Western, it was probably translated into Japanese from an English script. In that case, I'm not surprised that most phrases were completely rewritten by Japanese translators because there's no way to translate English literally and have it sound natural in Japanese. I think both versions sound natural and that's what counts, really.

So good. I think i played the 2nd one. It was challenging sometimes, and I think some of Splinter Cell a lot of crossover. I really liked the multiplayer Tenchu with PvPvE, with two players and many patrolling NPCs and different items scattered around. You could theow caltrops, but they would get you, too, and a skilled player could double jump over them. I guess that highlights the differences between mostly stealth and stealth/action. Idk.

@@ryanhowe5753 I know this is a late reply but I was recently reminded of my favorite sucker Punch game of all time infamous 1. That game had a karma system bad decisions and good decisions there were several major decisions in that game that you could make. Each and every one of them had a horrible outcome if you made the bad decision oftentimes it was killing main characters that the main protagonist cared about and the final decision would cause the bad ending of the game. The only proper criticism that I've ever seen of ghost Shima is the fact that it only had one true path that you could take. Even if that path is obviously the correct path and the one that should be taken. You should have been allowed to take the samurai path even if it would get people killed including your allies and yourself eventually. Like in the first mission with Yuna, after being thrown off the bridge when she tells you that if you don't do it stealthily they will kill the prisoners. If you have the option of doing it like a samurai you would have forced your way through the front door loudly and then got to the other side and found that they had killed the prisoners just like Yuna said. You wouldn't learn about the straw hats, you likely have to learn about them in a different way it would end up being later. Yuna would be less happy with you and her brother would end up dying. After that she would leave the story. As at the end of the day she is right, the Mongols will kill prisoners and you are not strong enough or fast enough to force your way through a stronghold in time to save them. This would eventually culminate in you and the other samurai that you managed to gather trying to force your way through the castle to save Lord shimura only to fail as they kill your Uncle you become the new leader and are forced to try and gather the samurais as your uncle did. This would eventually lead to you facing the Kahn at your family castle were your entire army would be destroyed on the bridge. You would likely end up falling in a final stand and leaving Tsushima in the Mongols hands It's honestly kind of a badass tragedy and as a fan of tragedy stories. . . I am now equally sad that they did not allow you to do this
