Half-Life 2 uses a ton of stock sound effects. The one I always notice is the "dropping a bag full of chains" sound the Combine make. Honestly I'm surprised there isn't a Wilhelm Scream in HL2.

Something about your voice and personality along with this little game had me engaged the whole way through. I usually have the attention span of a goldfish, but with this I didn’t look at the progress bar once. It was just a continuous experience. Nice video.

Fun fact: Goldfish have pretty average memory, and have a higher attention span than the average human. The idioms are actually entirely based on the fact that they look like they have no thoughts and empty heads

There's a few, but nothing grand, just easter egg kind of things similar to the fox-grapes encounter and the cardboard on a couch encounter. If you find them all you get all the achievements.

At the end when the guy is showing his feeling of self doubt and insecurity, where he says that he is afraid of trying because of the fear of falling and making something that is not good enough... at the end when he lets go and just gives you what the game is, a button. Jolly: BUTTON! YEAH! LOVE IT! Jolly is just so unapologetic sincere, I absolutely adore it!

The way I see it a video every week or two vs one subbed video every month or two is worth the trade-off. For both income and mental health. Plus I have so much content I WANT to get out but with my old editing style never could.

This reminds me of the old loony toons episode animator vs animation or something like that. It's been remade several times but the one I remember was Daffy being manipulated by Bugs. I think the more recent version was Bugs being drawn by Elmer. The trope still holds up.

I'd like to give credence to, in particular, the segment made to replicate performing on a stage and how jolly reacts. His initial hesitation and fear of being disappointing or messing up no matter how much he's practiced, the brief pause just before the action, and the final moment of realization and clarity that comes from understanding that it doesn't matter what it is he's actually doing. Good or bad, entertaining or a stunning failure, it doesn't matter. "I'm just going to push a button"

The way jolly accomplish pushing all the button in this game reminds me of my unity implementation of AI pathfinding. It just doesn't work as intended.
