Great looking bike and a true light weight adv bike. My main concern is getting parts if you need say a rear brake leaver for example.

Hi Glen, yeah AJP have an Australian website you just get the part numbers and drop them into your cart and away you go. Having said that they don't carry all parts here in Australia sometimes it can take 2-3 weeks for them to come in from Portugal. The importer here is really good to deal with Thanks for watching Regards Steve

Picked up mine 2 weeks ago, very happy so far. Can i ask, have you had the motoz tyres before? And if so what mileage did u get out of the last ones?
@dirtbikeadv7 ай бұрын
Yeah had the Motoz rear before and I reckon it did between 4000 and 5000 KMs. They wear a bit better the Dunlop 606 but grip just as good. I found the 606's a bit noisy but other than that a good tyre. I'm loving the Motoz front and rear so that will be my go to tyre from now on. Note I use the tube type which are designed for the lighter end of the ADV bike market Thanks for watching Regards Steve

Love the content Steve! I’m talking to Bike Edge Wodonga at the moment re a potential 2024 PR7 purchase. Any advice heading into the negotiations? Is not my strong suit 😂

@@46MOOKS Thanks mate. That's very exciting I would love to buy the new model myself. Apparently there is a fair few tweaks between my model and the latest model. Mine is great so yours should be awesome. Motorcycle shops get very little margin out of new bike sales. (Got a mate who has a dealership) Sales have dropped right off as well. Try your best to negotiate but if U are not successful take comfort in the fact you are putting food on the table for the business owner. Sorry not much help 😔

@@dirtbikeadv thanks Steve! And I hear you re industry conditions and appreciate your comments. Good to be reminded sometimes it is not all just dollars and cents. What tweaks sir? I’m still in the middle of PR7 research atm

@@46MOOKS So they put a new ecu, a bigger battery, re directed wiring a little and I think that's it. The guy at Bike Edge told a mate of mine that so ask them. Mine was one of the first 6 bikes brought into the country. The factory wasn't happy with them as they were a pig to start and the fueling wasn't quite right. (Bit snatchy at low speeds) So AJP sent out a technician and he fitted new ECU's and tuned them a bit. Some of the Sachs forks anodising had let go on the inside as well so they replaced the fork tubes under warranty. (I had a Beta with the same problem) Since then they are also onto a new generation tablet and Speedo I think. Talk to Bike Edge they seem to be selling a few now. How much on the road?

@@dirtbikeadv cheers, likely talking to them more today where amongst other questions I’ll learn ride away price. But I’m guessing 21-22k
