AJP PR7 Big servicing Part 2/3 | Long Ride Zone | Swing arm bearing / Shock absorber

After 34000km across Europe, it's time to do the big check-up of my AJP PR7 it will be ready for new adventures!
In the second part :
- Shock spring replacement by a stronger one

Super boulot ! Tu vas connaître ta moto par coeur pour ton futur tour du monde ;) toujours d'actualité ? Petite question : vu ton programme, tu n'as pas voulu changer joints Spy et refaire ton amortisseur arrière ?

Salut, Pour l'amortisseur j'ai changé le ressort pour un plus ferme, ça transforme la moto. À l'avant j'ai finalement changé les joints spi et mis de l'huile plus épaisse. Comme cela l'avant et l'arrière sont mieux équilibré quand je roule chargé.

Tres bien mais si tu pouvais mettre le son de la voix un peu plus fort car il est couvert par la musique. Bonne route!!!

Cool. Pourquoi tu as changé ton ressort AR? Pour le remontage du BO, enlever la vis du cadre coté béquille suffit en principe, mais c'est vrai que c'est un peu galère avec les rondelles à faire passer en même temps.

salut lorzo! Je ne me lasse pas de voir l'entretien que tu fais au PR7, que j'ai aussi ! J'ai une question, j'ai déjà commandé le même ressort Eibach que vous avez commandé au poids, nous sommes similaires... J'aimerais acheter l'outil que vous utilisez pour comprimer le ressort et pouvoir changer le ressort d'amortisseur. Pouvez-vous me donner une idée où acheter? Merci et tiens nous au courant de ton évolution !! santé!!👍👍🙌

Salut Mike, N'ayant pas le bon outil. J'ai utilisé des colliers de serrage métallique et plastique. C'était chaud mais ça a fonctionné.

Is it possible you can list the part numbers of the replacement bearings/or upgrade ones from SKF, with bushings/seals, o rings or anything else, as we know AJP is not necessarily the best setup? Even though yours is a '20, mine is an '18, possibly they might be a crossover

Hello, AJP already use SKF Bearings, and NBR seals.
