This was the first song I’d ever heard by AJR. I remember thinking he sounded like Nate Ruess from Fun. I’ll hear a song by them and get it immediately.

5:55 The band is from New York City and you were asking earlier if the guy talking was the person who made the instrumental and he pretty much makes all of the music for the band. Interestingly, he has a condition called Synesthesia which means he see music as color (typically it is sound in general with Synesthesia). Also, you talked about the knock on the door and that reminds me what I wrote in comment for the video you were watching: "Us: Who was at the door? Ryan: That doesn't matter, but the knock was nice though"
