The engine stalls if you hear a compressor stall (usually happens with sharp turning for prolonged periods of time) and you don't level out but instead keep turning, the engine is deprived of air and then shuts off.

I've never managed to restart after compressor stall. The engine spools up but then shuts down again.

Did this on my first test flight. Heard a loud BANG then all went quiet aside from the fault alarm.

The first time I took her up I put her into a power off stall and the engine died. So yes, it is very easy to stall the engine of the Viggen. I am here now because in a dogfight I pulled a 10 g turn and stalled the engine.

The engine will stall very easily if you go to high altitudes, 45.000+

Which also leaves you plenty of time to figure out what just happened, and figure out how to restart the engine even if you've never done it before. #beentheredonethat

@@mariushusejacobsen3221 I just mash the applicable buttons and hope for the best, and I'm even Swedish, so I kind of understand the written instructions.. It's probably best to actually know the sequence though, lol

I have had it stall on occations when doing low speed manuvers with tight turnings and janking on the throttle too much.

Just flying around in mountain passes I´ve made it stall numerous times. Seems to require either high altitude or high speed and sharp corners.

I guess if you just fly 180 rolled without engine feed set to norm if there is some kind of option there and your engine will stall in no time

I don't know if they change something, but I stall my engine 4 times tonight when I take multiple close turn... But I didn't remember how to restart and crash 4 times hahaha...
