I bought your B-25U mount with the RK-1 foregrip and it took months to get into the US. I even got a call from the US Postal Service saying that they were suspicious of my package because "wah its russian", but I took it as good news as I totally thought I wasn't ever going to see it. Spoke with Anastasia briefly about this on IG a while back or maybe on another comment on zenit's vids, they are not above doing it but it's apparently difficult to source that pattern AK in Russia. Importation laws work both ways. I suspect it's to not take away from the domestic market.

The AK barrel looks like it has gone through many war, I quote "The experienced are usually wiser than the unexperienced"

This is because this is a non-firing model made from a real military AK or based on it. In Russia, they are sold freely. Under the law, this product is not considered a weapon. Usually they drill a barrel in several places and insert pins inside the drilled holes so that the bullet does not go through the barrel, and then the pin is welded and the welding spot is polished. Also, the shutter is "modified" in such a way that it is no longer interchangeable with a conventional AK. The trigger mechanism usually remains unchanged (i.e. they have a fully automatic firing mode). Such a product is very easy to convert back into a military weapon with the help of primitive tools like a drill and a welding machine. Naturally, this is illegal, but this does not stop some, especially considering that such AKs cost from $ 300. This is a great business for weapons factories, since it is difficult for them to sell their products on the civilian market and they simply buy unused weapons stored in strategic warehouses from the state and remake them for free sale to collectors and all other people who want to have them. A lot of firearms are stored in Russia, which the state uses as a reserve in the event of a war, and many warehouses are simply filled to the top, and disposing of old trash like Mosin rifles will cost more than their own cost. By the way, this is the main reason why Mosin rifles in the USA were sold for mere pennies in the early 90s. It was simply expensive to dispose of them, and it was necessary to free up space in warehouses. By the way, many rare samples of Russian weapons that American weapons bloggers have (for example, Brandon Herrera's AK-12). These are models that were bought in Russia, then dismantled and illegally transported to the USA. And then, already in America, they were reassembled .I remember how a few years ago the Kalashnikov Concern threw thousands of brand new AK-103s on the market with three pins in the barrel and it was a bestseller. They cost 300 bucks each and had minimal differences from the army version. There are rumors that it was a large batch of AK-103 for Venezuela, but they did not have time to pay for them due to the fact that a crisis began in Venezuela and the Kalashnikov Concern simply sold them in this way. They also successfully sold Makarov pistols with a very sparing deactivation. There were only two pins in the barrel and it could be returned to a combat state in an hour of work if the necessary tools were available. They sold them due to the fact that there were a lot of blanks at the plant and it was not possible to sell them because the state did not order called Makarov pistols. There were already a lot of them and no one needs them, and you can’t buy a pistol legally in Russia - they are prohibited. As a result, such idiotic weapons laws with a bunch of restrictions led to the fact that, according to the Russian National Guard, which controls weapons, legal owners of weapons in Russia are about five million people (a significant part of which are old hunters with double-barreled guns), and illegal weapons are about 25 million. These 25 million firearms are just ghost weapons. They are not in any databases, they are not registered anywhere, and illegal owners of such weapons are almost impossible to identify and arrest, unless they themselves make mistakes. And this is not just some crap printed on a 3D printer. This is a real army weapon in all its diversity, from the Makarov pistol to the DShK. But at the same time, such weapons rarely appear in criminal reports. Of course, criminals use them, but quite rarely, especially considering the total number. Another proof that gun laws are just complete stupidity and the state’s attempt to fight against citizens’ right to weapons leads to the opposite effect .

Yes. But not every. The question is: all rifles have slightly different sizes. You hammer the handguard into the receiver and it takes the shape of this exact receiver. If the receiver of second rifle is slightly smaller, then yes. But if it’s bigger, handguard will not fit so tight. So it is possible, but we do not recommend that as the reliability will not be the same on all rifles.

I've used B10 rails on a few rifles now. An Arsenal SLR-107, Polish kit build and a Bulgarian kit build AK-74. There was some file to fit and a rubber mallet involved in all of them. However if you do it right you can get it to lock up nicely.

Yes. It should be hammered in, because we want it to hold zero and fit tight. And all rifles have slightly different sizes. And it should fit tightly all of them. So we hammer aluminum handguard into steel receiver. Aluminum is softer than steel. It takes the shape of this exact rifle. And can be reinstalled on this exact rifle many times. It took its shape. It’s perfect for it and rigid. Can it be installed on other rifles? Yes and no. Depends on dimensions. As stated above, sizes vary. If the second rifle is smaller then yes. If bigger, then we do not recommend it as it won’t be as rigid.
