This is my go to lightener. One round and my dark blonde/light brown hair with natural red undertones lifts me to a white blonde which is perfect for the bright colors I prefer. I do a 1:1 as the 2:1 leaves me really brassy.

@TristinVerret 1:1 means 1 part developer to 1 part lightener. 2:1 means 2 parts developer to 1 part lightened which won't lightened your hair as much but also won't damage it as much. You might be better off (in my NON-PROFESSIONAL opinion) doing a 1:1 ration if you aren't doing on the scalp.

I been waiting on this one!! i used this exact lightener a month ago for my first bleach job because i was advised against harsher powders on my buzzed 4c hair/sensitive scalp and it came out SO WELL! used 30 volume developer with a 1:2 ratio, rinsed out with minimal damage, ended up lifting to like level 9 first pass so i didn't have to use a toner and when i went straight in with red dye it all came out incredibly vibrant and is lasting me ages! highly recommend this bleach if you are a poc looking for a lightener that won't kill your hair 🙏

I've been doing my own hair white since 2018 and this bleach is by far my fave from Sally's! The Blondeme is my favourite, but as far as non-salon stuff goes this is it. Gives me a ton of lift (not quite as much as the Blondeme though) and doesn't fry my hair like Quickblue or something like that

Hiiiii! Im born and raised a New Yorker and I have lived in the Caribbean for 12 years (and many more to come). I LIVE FOR palm tree Christmases! I do miss fall fashion but some of us LOVE being warm, humid and FRIZZY year round. Different strokes for different folks. Love living vicariously though other people's 4-season experiences so keep us beach people updated ❤

i got the most growth (minimal breakage) when i bleached my roots at half an inch (so twice a month for me since my hair grows fast). any longer than that and it was better to just wait a few months because i would end up with banding and breakage. i got my natural level 2 hair to platinum and about 36 inches long. it was very healthy (read: looked shiny and felt soft) up until the point that i got too depressed to take care of it 🙃but that wasn't the bleach's fault. honestly impressed you didn't just say fuck it and let your roots grow out again. that length is SO annoying to bleach. you did such a great job.

Wella blondor does not swell at all and is so gentle. With a creamy consistency You should so try it. If I ever get any breakage on my clients it's with the schwarzkopf blonde me. I'd love to see you try Wella. Also in my experience 50 mins is not that long to leave bleach especially for a cream lighter. The blonde me is very aggressive 9 level lift bleach and that's why it works fast. 💪

Omg, what you were saying about the seasons and needing all 4 and how Halloween and Xmas just aren’t the same!!100% how I’ve been feeling the pst couple years! I’m from Kansas City, we very drastically get all 4 seasons there, for a couple reasons I’ve had to live with my mom in North Carolina the past couple years and my mom has loved it here because she doesn’t like cold weather, whereas for me- I like spring and summer, mostly for the epic Midwest storms, long rainy days, and being able to swim and such, but I am a fall baby, I also hate hot weather in general, and fall and winter are my favorite my favorite seasons. I have never fully understood seasonal depression until I moved out here to NC. I miss my frosty cold weather so bad, and the holidays really just don’t feel the same at all, I want to enjoy fires and hot cocoa, etc. I would rather suffer hot humid Midwest summers than skip over nice chilly, dreary fall and winter right on to spring

This is the only bleach I've been using for the past few years. I'm pretty sure I have the same hair color as you but with some grey. I use sensitive scalp 30 vol developer and the ion bond builder Olaplex dupe and it works great but still a little more yellow than I like, but I also rinse too soon out of fear. When I go to the salon to get my hair cut they always say how healthy my hair is for being bleached. I've been wanting to try the Schwartzkopf Blonde Me but $$ and I have a Sally's credit card. Thanks for trying it. I love your videos. ❤

Ppl that say “don’t use the rat tail (metal)” probably don’t know how to part properly. It’s not supposed to scrape across the scalp. Even when us braiders part, it looks rough but clients can’t even feel it. They’re probably scratching their scalp instead of moving slowly and gently like you’re doing.
