Girl this turned out great! Gonna leave a few treatment recommendations if you want try them out, metal detox shampoo and hair mask ( to remove heavy metals from the hair and rebuild the hair fiber) and blond absolu bain lumiere and masque cicaextreme ( to hydrate, prevent oxidation and heal the hair fiber) ! They're a little pricy all together but I use them to maintain my almost white bleached silver hair and it's honestly a game changer!

Once upon a time ago, my hair had seen 20 vol way too many times. It got slimy in the shower. I thought, oh sh#@. I didn't touch it. Loaded it with olaplex #3, and kept it wet for like 4 hours. Rinsed and loaded it with Argan oil. I am convinced that combo is why I still have hair today.

Ugh it looks so great! Tonight I'm gonna redye my ends with Pravana Violet because it's faded to like a light bluish/periwinkle color. I think I'm now on month 14 since last bleaching my roots. I'm fighting the urge to cut all of the bleach bits off!! Hopefully by end of January 2023 or beginning of February I'll have all of my natural color back. This process has really helped me appreciate my natural color more.

There are two pieces behind my bangs that are SO stubborn to bleach and color Edit: RESULT IS BEAUTIFUL IM JELLY. yes let it chill, the porosity of your hair is probably all over the place dont want spotty color😊

Duuuude, aphogee! This just gave me so much nostalgia. I used this stuff all the time back in highschool. Like when I needed a root touch up, I would go all over with the bleach and this treatment is the only thing that kept hair on my head. (not sure why I understood the importance of using a protein treatment but couldn't comprehend only applying the lightener to my new growth?) Thankfully I no longer do that and have long relatively healthy platinum hair, but I should try one of these treatments again sometime just for the sticky stinky hell of it.

I buy the bottles of aphogee and put it in a spray bottle. Much easier. And yes it's so super sticky and I hate that feeling on my hands too.

Im sad, I was planing to split dye my hair. I had a strand of hair done to see how it was gonna be and if I was going like it to go forth with my other half. I retouch my roots and went baaaad. I had orange and the rest of my already blind hair started breaking. Something went wrong. I just finished covering it like my hair color. I dont feel like myself 😐 Its wonderful how you just nail it. You're obviously experienced and pull off anything you do! Good for you girl, its a sad day for me. Watching this has nostalgic value. Hair rocks and life is too short for boring hair❤

👋🏼Long time level 6 comment here. I'm watching this because I'm in the process of bleaching my 2" roots. I have fine, low porosity hair, so I've surrendered the fantasy, and buy two bleach packs, and do either 1/4 or one half of my head at a time with 40 vol- over the course of four days, to ensure I address the dreaded band of gold and minimize damage. This way, I don't have obvious hot roots and the application is consistent vs. one side being more brassy than the other. I will try the Apo... treatment again. I trim and also double up on the K18 "serum" and cream leave-in treatment. That adds shine as long as I don't put it near my scalp.

I wish you would’ve did half your head with foils the first time and then rinsed it out, repeat process on the top half, rinse it, and then do the roots to the scalp, it would take all day but lower the risk of breakage and banding

As a stylist, I would highly recommend trying K18 with a chemical service (mist and mask) or even just the mask if you can’t get ahold of the mist. It will literally change your life on how you bleach or color your hair! I noticed when I use it during chemical treatments the results are so much better! I was able to bleach my permed/highlighted hair to platinum and I had NO breakage at all!!! And it doesn’t take long to do where as Olaplex takes awhile. Just a suggestion to help you out a ton!

I also bought the dye but haven’t had time to use it yet. I used the shampoo and conditioner once and my hair has the most beautiful pastel pink color, I love it ❤

FOR STICKYNESS: Use medical adhesive remover wipes. Allcare by Convatec is what I use, and you can get it pretty cheap on Amazon. If you have medical patches or go in for testing and they glue stuff to you - this is what gets it off. It's basically an orange citrus oil. I once bought a kitchen glassware that had sticky stuff on it.. nothing would get it off my hands. Then I remembered I had the wipes - 10/10. Magic.

I did the regrowth with you but only for 7 months (I’m pregnant tho so my hair is growing twice as fast) Anyways I ended up with the SAME band. I didn’t know 10 vol would help. I thought 10 doesn’t lift. I didn’t want to do 20 again so I’ve lived with my band for about two months now

I had the same issue when I bleached out my regrowth and I had almost as much regrowth as you and my natural hair colour is not far off yours. There’s still little bits of golden but very little. Literally videos like these are how I know how to do my hair 😂😂

Have you tried the Redken extreme CAT treatment? Seems like the same thing - a protein bomb but it smells great and comes in a convenient spray bottle. I've used it for years!

Yes a4 to 6 weeks depending on how fast your hair grows. If you wait longer then you would have to do it in two parts. The part on your scalp and the part on anything longer than that because you will can have banding. I’ve seen it where it didn’t happen on lighter hair. Just to be safe and not double process. It also depends on how light your hair is. I believe there are videos out there that can explain. I like to watch Bobby hair studio on KZbin. She does a lot of blonds. She’s pretty knowledgeable

My hair is really curly but after bleaching it once in December (2021) and dying it blue, and then bleaching it again in July (2022) to get rid of the blue I lost my curl pattern :( and I’ve been looking for something to try to make my curly hair look curly again, would the aphogee treatment work better than the curlsmith bond curl rehab treatment to get my curls back?
