I have just watched all three videos of this hair journey back to back. I commented this on the color remover video, but the shrine color remover contained bleach. So it definitely wasn’t protein overload. I am so upset about the shrine product doing you dirty like that. But on an unrelated note, I love how supportive your husband is. First of all, the cut looks great! Second, can't wait to see what you do next for the colour. Third, I could only wish to find a guy who is as supportive of your husband! Did a massive cut, myself, 2 years ago. Found my current colour scheme July of last year and have been maintaining it that long, going from vibrant one month to pastel the second month, before bleaching the roots.

Hi Aislinn I just wanted to say a huge hi and I really love your haircut that you did on yourself sweetie. I’m a cosmetologist like you and I cut my own hair as believe it or not I absolutely HATE anyone else touching my hair and my head! I even do my own foil bleached highlights but to make it easier I just take thin slices of hair and I work from the back to the front then the back sides and it doesn’t take me long as I’ve done it for so long just like you! Ever tried the color express from loreal? after bleaching I always use the shampoo, conditioner and acidic treatment. It snaps the life right back into it. After doing this once a week for like two weeks my hair is soft again. Btw I love the new cut.

Dang Aislinn you are the queen of bleaching hair , I have never seen anyone section hair better and the finished look is perfect, I wear my clips everyday like you cuz my bangs are growing out but annoying. I know it sucks to cut your hair when you’re trying to grow it out BUT just think of all the scraggly hair you don’t have to deal with! It looks healthier already and it’ll grow back even better. Been there when I had a hair cut in not the best of emotional state and hated it, but honestly cutting it off feels better even if we end up not liking it.. Besides, hair grows anyway. My husband has a very short American crew cut and his only request for my hair is that it be longer than his. Since we’ve been married my hair has been black, blue (dark and light), pink (lots of shades), peach, rose gold, copper blonde, and platinum. It has been from chin length to waist length (2020 and no haircut for over a year). I’m happy to be with someone that thinks I’m beautiful regardless 😊
