I love Color Oops too. I have been using it for well over a decade to go from black every Winter to a reddish color that is easier to bleach to get the vivid colors I wear all Summer. I use a heated conditioning cap to keep the Color Oops warm during processing and it gives a much better result at the end. The main things with this remover to remember is to keep it warm while processing and rinse for the full 20 minutes and the results are always incredible.

I used this to remove black dye today, and got the same result. I was nervous at first because I couldn’t see it lifting right away, but it’s a warm light auburn now which is luckily really close to my natural color. Gonna get a bond building conditioner and wait a few days before putting a new toner in, I’m worried there may be some molecules left even though I rinsed for like half an hour!

Last time I used it I didn’t get the best results but I’m going to try again. I went from platinum to a super dark brown (Demi) and it seemed to lighten it but not as well as it worked for you. I have every colour in my hair last ones were green then black (box dye only done once over 4 months ago). It’s faded to a brown and my natural hair has grown out a lot. I have my natural light brown/blondish ash for like 5in then a banding of black for 6in then light brown at the ends like 4/5in. Do I just put colour remover all over or does the black banding need it on first? It’s not super harsh but it’s there

Hiii please help! I’ve been a level 10 blonde for years. Decided I wanted a cool ash brown and picked up Ion’s mushroom brown. I filled it with Artic Fox pink mixed with conditioner because that’s what I had on hand (figured that would be enough). Well it wasn’t lol my hair isn’t completely green but there is definitely a tint. I’m just needing to know what to pick up at Sally’s to make it richer and warm.
