You’ve definitely come up with an interesting way of working with the Force, using those huge templates of synth sounds inside of drum kits. I enjoyed your final performance too. You probably already know this shortcut, but since I don’t think you showed it, thought I’d mention it because it could be useful in this workflow. Shift + Edit + any of the pads in note mode on a drum track will create a new keygroup using that drum pad’s sample.

Thank you so much! After recording this, I did find out that the keyboard icon in the top of Track Edit will create a keygroup from the last pad triggered, but I didn't know there was a shortcut for it! It's a shame that documentation is lacking so significantly for this unit, but it's also amazing to discover the intricate details. Like finding hidden treasure, which is in accordance with my personality. :) Thank you for watching!

It may not be my favorite type of music, but the process itself is very inspiring and brings a lot in terms of education. I just purchased Akai Force and I have a long way to go. You're doing it great.

Thank you, and welcome to the Force community! I appreciate you taking the time to watch. Out of curiosity, what genres are you planning on working in? Also, are you coming from software?

@@danieklerr I was brought up on classic boom bap and g-funk :) A few years ago, I fulfilled my youthful dream from over 20 years ago and purchased an MPC. I'm still learning what all this music is, but I still got GAS and when I had an opportunity for Akai Force at a good price, I took it :D

Now I wanted to get the akai force. I have the push 2, sp404, live 2 and maschine mk3 but this one is a different beast.

I've never owned a Push, but I've had Live, SP404sx and various incarnations of Maschine. They all have something dazzling about them, and some disappointments. The Force is alike in this regard. Thank you for watching!

Thank you for watching!

@@danieklerr ah bon ?

First time I’ve watched your method and am completely lost… where would I begin learning how you use the Force
@danieklerr Жыл бұрын
Hello.. I totally understand, as my Force videos are not catered much to new users. I think the Maxipok videos and that Pink Buddha guy had decent beginner tutorials, if I remember correctly. The Nice Things guy has very comprehensive content, but he moves too slow for me. Thanks for watching!
