This was so helpful. I've watched basically every force tutorial on youtube, and you're showing tips that nobody else has even touched upon. Thank you so much.

The best way you can get out of a rut on a piece of gear is watch stuff like this. I basically forgot the step sequencer existed lol.

How about this for a series of videos... You set yourself a challenge to make a tune in say 30 minutes for the first video. Then for the 2nd video, you do the same thing, only the new tune uses the same project file as the 1st tune. And you have to use one element from the previous tune in your next tune? Repeat this a few times and then at the end, when you've made a bunch of tunes/patterns, you do a little live performance of all the tunes you've made?

My Force has been freezing up and crashing. Five times yesterday. I don’t know what’s going on with it. Had it for four months now. I am using a SD card 500 gigs I got off of wish so maybe that’s it. Maybe it’s the splice samples routed to the SD? Akai didn’t answer and zzounds where I got it from didn’t know neither. Has yours froze at all? Mine came with the latest firmware.
@nicethings4 жыл бұрын
Could be that. If you’re streaming over WiFi to a removable drive while active, might lead to glitches. I these new Akai products prefer direct access from internal drives. Try making sure the files are completely downloaded while playing and creating.

Yo Nicethings, is there a way to create substeps in a sequence on the Force for intermittent rolls or studders like what's they show at 1:30 in this video for the Polyend Tracker? kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6K9hmmdabyrhrs Don't think I've seen this demonstrated with Force...
@nicethings4 жыл бұрын
Yep, there’s quite a few way to create rolls. As I think you are meaning ‘snare to fill’ that can be done in clip edit: Grid > select the part/s > split events. Unfortunately, you still have to manually spread them. If you don’t like using ARP for rolls, you can also do them with STEP SEQ, and adjust in realtime.
@ziggdog1164 жыл бұрын
Thnx, if you can adjust in real time, then that's what I'm interested in. Appreciate the insight. 👍
