Absolutely Flavor Pro is worth the money - especially since buying it gets you a VST/AU/AAX activation that you can use in any DAW. The fact that we can use it standalone on our Force/MPC is just awesome! Very cool video man - thanks for sharing!

Very cool! Love the plugin. The SP1200 preset in it nearly always works on the master bus with a little bit of tweaking.

I love this review .. I did buy it when it was on sale .. but I have been too busy to even try it . YooO G.A.S is real .. but this is actually the only thing I’ve ever paid for to add to myMPC. N I’m glad I did. This was a great demo of the more musical uses for “flava Pro” .. exactly why it got it .

Completely agree! If I had to choose only one Synth/FX between all the new paid additions to the MPC, the Flavor Pro is the only choice! I compared Flavor Pro to a very famous XLN audio RC-20 plugin and, I have to say, Flavor Pro wins, IMHO. Also, nice bonus - since you are purchased the Flavor Pro you can download VST/AU Flavor Pro from the AIR site and use it in any DAW if you wish so!

Hey mahman, great stuff as always. Any chance you’ve been able to get Flavor Pro to run as AU or VST in another daw? I feel I’ve installed all correctly but no luck using flavor pro in s1, ableton, Luna or protools. Perhaps I misunderstood the information tabs but I thought this worked outside of mpc as well as in the 2.11 universe. Cheers

I have not tried to use Flavor Pro as AU or VST in another daw just yet. I believe it is possible to use MPC Software as a VST plugin inside of any DAW, so it might be possible to rout the signal into the Flavor Pro,Also, recently I heard AKAI already did a VST or AU installer of Flavor pro. I have to find more info about it!

I agree my ingenious friend .. this the ONLY thing I’ve paid for to add functionality to my mpc …I’ve never brought an expansion or FX. Or synth .. but this was. No brainier ..it has the ability to add or take away small details to any sound ..much mote than just a LO-Fi thing .. love it and love your creative content..btw how do you find it on drums or vocals …& when is your loft jazz guitar sample pack coming ?

It is only the effects, but Flavor Pro has a lot of presets, those are combination of various effects and settings.

It is very close, and little bit more "random" in pitch related artefacts recreation a good way. I'll probably do a comparison video between RC20 and Flavor Pro. I like the fact it running on the MPC hardware , so I can use it as a stand alone FX.

Your examples are awesome, but that plugin doesn't work with me. I prefer Tape Mello Fi by Arturia and RC 20.

Can’t use Tape Mello or RC20 on your MPC/Force in standalone, but they’re pretty sweet desktop alternatives for sure.

@@poltergeist_16 I'm planing to do a comparison video RC 20 VS Flavor Pro. RC 20 is a classic plugin, but I feel like I'm tend to like the Flavor Pro little more. Also, the possibility to use the Flavor Pro plugin on hardware platform (MPC) make it not really comparable to the native plugins as RC20. I'm waiting for Flavor Pro in VST/AU format.

Lofi junky still better. I’ve tried flavour pro vs lofi junky and damn…. Junkie is a real deal. Flavour pro is 2nd best though
