What up Ave, I purchased this and was disappointed. It was not like the F9 Expansion Pack, where they have drums and instruments. This Expansion has a few drum kits with the samples on the pads and since I'm new, this didn't work for me. But thanks for the great video!!!!

Okay... i need a tutorial video from you.... for my Mpc live. cuz i just got my MPC LIVE 2 RETRO and I can’t figure out how to pull up my projects on my internal drive on the mpc beats software and how to go from a project i made in standalone mode to go to Controller mode back n forth ya know... i think i need too move all my projects and programs to my SSD i put in it??? Please help.

It's easy if you have a SSD installed in it or a USB drive for your MPC Live 2.

I would say yes upgrade. The Live 2 has a speaker and some more features that come in very useful.

Ask far as the amount of sounds you get, for those that asked, I just purchased it and it has about 425 samples. Not sure how it breaks down as far as loops but the quantity kits look to be around 20 to 25

I would say yes. I used my Live 2 as a portable recording studio( for a rapper) in my car and mixed it when I got home. 2tb SSD from Best Buy.

I don't think you can use Akai Expansions on Maschine. Ironically, you can.use Native Instruments Expansions on the newer generation MPC's with Kit Maker..Ave actually did a video on this same subject.

I'm jealous AF, there are very few decent packs like this available for Ableton Push, at least, they're far and few between.

I agree .. but you can still point Ableton to the MPC library folder and use the wav's... do it all the time when not using my MPC. Only thing you don't get all the effects built into the program, but that's easy to add in a drum rack in Ableton.

@@nihilgeist666 Nope, that's why I agreed with you. I just meant you could use the samples from the packs to create your own drum racks. Some creators nomenclature/naming scheme make it easy to connect samples from certain kits, which make it easy to create kits.

Great sounds but I prefer making them more, I like when I chop peherepeteal "lower case" sounds and make them musical. What I mean to say, I'm glad if eco sistem is functioning so the inspired can create and sound design is satisfied.
