Man people seemed to not be feeling the new MPCs when they 1st came out but after a few updates these bad boys are super super dope and are getting great reviews.

People’s “want to have it first” mind set over shadows, the knowledge that bugs need working out and “Updates” as you said. I waited til they worked out most. As I am waiting for Maschine+’s bugs and updates before I buy.

You should have been around when the mpc 1000 and 500 came out. Critics blasted it, while the "community" got the best out of them. Way back i did mpc 500 videos on an old channel of mine, people were eating it up once they saw what it could do. Similar case here.

Can't wait for these updates XD

Feels kinda like they were pushed to release it because the hardware was ready to go, but the programmers weren’t given enough time, people or resources to implement all the features they wanted to, or beta test it with users and get feedback before release. It’s such a common issue now, kinda like how console games used to come out done because they couldn’t really be updated once people had bought them, whereas now you buy a game and it ends up getting fixed for months.

@@davidfouse1820 Def look into the one... does everything the live does... only thing missing is some inputs, the speakers, bluetooth, expandable storage, wifi, and the battery... well that is a lot of shit lol but though the MPC one is entry level priced it does all the shit the bigger models can do features wise. It's $800 vs $1400...

Hey Ave thanks for this info! I’m wondering about the part at about 9:50 where you changed the bars on that loop from 5 to 3 and “halved” it, what part was halved? was that loop supposed to only half play through before looping again? I didn’t really hear a difference but maybe I misunderstood what changing the amount of bars in that loop was supposed to do. Great video and thanks again

Can you make a video about looping recorded samples! I sampled an old school song ,but can’t get it to loop perfectly. It’s either a silent pause or it doesn’t transition well back to the beginning.
@413XF3 жыл бұрын
This would be helpful! I pulled a great sample the other day, it's like a slow ambient jazz melody and it's kind of hard to get it to fit perfectly because the bmp changes slightly. So I experimented by chopping it by bar and warping each sample individually, instead of keeping it a 4 bar loop, and it seemed to workout ok. But yeah, I would love a more advanced tutorial on this when creating my own loops, particularly in a challenging situation.

Clip mode is awesome! But I'm struggling here with memory limit. I've uploaded stems to mpc (6 tracks) and it ate up 80% of ram and I still have songs to load. I was thinking to crop clips into small chunks (Fortunately music is very repetitive), but I cannot crop loop into separate sample within clip menu and when I do sample edit, it works in absolute time and not bpm.
@Jonathan_Doe_2 жыл бұрын
You mean stems the full length of a song? It’s not really meant for that, it only has 2gb of ram. You’d be better off midi syncing a laptop with ableton to your MPC and having ableton play the stems and running the MPC for more MPC stuff.
