How does Loopop not have millions of subs 🤔 Seriously, there's no hype, no bs, just giving you everything you need and want to see from a product without any "hey guy's raid shadow legend's, VPN, manscape" cheesy over animated fake personality.
@sssncodesstuff3364

well you cannot compare it to ppl that do content about games and other stuff, there is much less audience for synths, loopop is actually one of the biggest synth channels or do you know about synth related channel that has milions of subs? Look mum no computer has half a mill and he does content that is somewhat entertaining for people out of synth world, Loopop vids are appealing only to people who are into synths / production etc.

I love my MPC One. It is exactly what I wanted. I love the size and the layout of the pads and buttons. Yet the MPC X might be in the future for me, but the MPC One does everything. I have loaded new expansion packs, sampled with it and made music. It is really a great instrument. After watching this video again, I am realizing what a beast this is. There are so many options. Any real instrument has limitations. So if you are looking for limitations you will find some. But if you are looking for an instrument with a great workflow and that really does so much, the MPC One is very awesome.

Superb review, having bought the Live 2 second hand and watching a load of well known MPC channels, I learned a lot just from this one great review that's over 2 years old ! Didn't know you could automate pad mutes and lots of other stuff - excellent ! The MPC is a dream come true for me having had an old Yamaha A3000 - it was great, but loading and saving samples was painfully slow and unreliable, it's great to get back to sampling with the new generation of samplers, the sky is the limit, I must say hat's off to Akai, this thing rocks ! Thanks for the informative review too !

Thank. you. I'm jut 13 minutes into your video and I'm not bored, you're really sharing all about the studio one that has me curious now. I just purchased the MPC Studio one last Friday and I've been waiting for a couple of years to get it...finances weren't quite available for me, but now I have it and I'm ready to jump in, learn create and produce. Love the touch screen and the granular control for sensitivity and built-in sounds...finally no more loading sounds and waiting forever and a day to get what you want. I lost so much inspiration with the older MPC Studio. Thanks for the clear concise explanations. Keep making relevant videos!

In regard to the Looper: You actually can add loops live. I have been doing this for awhile now with fairly smooth results using the MPC Live (I assume it is the same for the MPC One, as from what I understand it basically uses the same firmware. Process: Play your sequence. It will loop. Go to the looper and record your new loop(s). In my case I have been jamming out guitar parts. Once you have your new loop click the touchscreen "Export". Choose the Program and Pad you want to assign the loop to. Click the "Keep" button. I usually then stop the loop from playing but keep the sequence going only after I double it up from the midi notes screen as I will continue to describe now... I then navigate to the Main screen, make sure I have the correct Drum instrument in context, go to the midi notes screen and play the new loop pad, adding it to my looping sequence. All while the music plays on. I then return to looper and repeat the process. It is a fantastic workflow.
@niklassilen4313

How on earth do you call that a "fantastic workflow"? You literally just went through a HUGE amount of steps. There are MUCH better ways to make a proper live looping workflow.. AKAI is totally clueless when it comes to this.

One of the best review videos I’ve seen on KZbin - excellent work. Love the structured approach and times down the side. The unit itself looks great, amazing power and functionality in a fairly compact unit. I prefer the look of this over the higher range models - particularly the hard buttons like the original mpcs. Automation record, track mutes automation, sample edit options look very promising. Cannot wait until it's available in EU. Thanks for the great tip, I will try that for this, and other videos when needed. Generally, I like fast moving presentations/speech, because it better matches, my brains speed of comprehension. That keeps my ADD from kicking in. But sometimes, when the material is too dense, or involves too many concepts I am not familiar with, or... I want to follow along, doing what he is doing, slower speed would be helpful. Now I know a tool for doing that. Have a great day!

Thanks for this brilliantly succinct and engaging round-up. I have a couple of questions: (a) Is there sufficient gain on the (line level?) sample inputs to cope with a regular vocal microphone, and (b) Did you notice any latency/timing issues when using MIDI and audio tracks in combination? What I'm looking for is a frustration-free scratch pad for quickly getting down song ideas, and I'm hoping the MPC One might be the answer.

Finally with the new update, u can connect audio interfaces to have more inputs, tested that with the focusrite products and they worked like a charm.

This was really comprehensive. Gives me an idea of what it may be like to make beats with this and much more. Some of these concepts were quite unrelatable, like sequences, programs and others. And i still don't get it.

Considering what MPC One offers, Elektron definitely need to drop their price on the Digitakt.

I was weighing up this or the Digitakt to join my Octatrack. Similar price but the MPC seems to do so much more.

@@blueworm99 To help you to decide: I think you can ask yourself do you want an inspiring and super intuitive to use instrument or a production system with tons of menu diving. I own both DT and Maschine MK3 and they're a whole different beasts. And I'm fairly confident in saying that so is MPC One (I'd compare it to MK3 rather than to Digitakt). That said, IF you want a traditional SAMPLER or a system where you can build your whole track, then go with the One (or MK3). Digitakt is not a good sampler in a traditional sense, but it's a superb drummachine/groovebox/"sample synth"/performance instrument, but as a pure traditional sampler I think it's quite flawed.

jarkokoo Thanks man, that’s good advice. I own a Maschine MK2 but want to break free of the laptop, which is why I went for the OT (love it by the way), but want to do more with drums than simply playing loops which is why I’m looking for a flexible creative drum machine. Kind of wish NI would bring out a standalone Maschine as I like their hardware and workflow but I’m not holding my breath!

Great video. I learned a lot about MPC OS. But if I were in the market for a modern MPC, I would definitely get the Live over an MPC One. I'll gladly pay $300 more for 2 midi inputs and 2 outputs, 6 1/4 outputs, rca inputs with ground and phone/line switch, full size pads, 10gb sound library, ability to add a hard drive, 16gb storage, rechargeable battery. I dont need the cv outputs. I dont care about it having less hardware buttons. But this MPC One a great deal for anyone who doesnt need the aforementioned. $700 is a steal for all that you get.
