Taetro, I feel so encouraged to deeply explore the potential of this machine. So far I've worked exclusively with software instruments, but now that I also have an MPK Mini, I hope it will help achieve more breakthroughs. (I've been a guitarist since the world was flat, so it was epochal for me to jump over to digital composition.) Anyway, I love your approach and look forward to many discoveries with this remarkable instrument.

Hello I really liked the tutorial, in the part of pausing the battery maybe you can use the "CC" button and select some pad as "Stop Clip Button". If you use just for this function I think it's worth one to Play another for Stop maybe. Arm to Select's tip changed my life. Brazil Here!!!

Great informations, it now auto-arms! You have to read both the articles. When saving the Options.txt instruction on a mac you have to hold command/shift/Period ( . ) to show the hidden library folder. If there is an easier way to save it in there I missed it. Love all your videos dude. Thanks for the beats :)

The mapping has limited function though. It will auto-overdub if there is already a playing clip on the selected track. It just won't replicage pressing "enter" on a new empty clip. I had to make a custom MIDI remote script to catch the pedal event and actually change the "set_fire_button_state" of the highlighted_clip_slot variable. So overdub if you are on a playing clip, record if it's an empty one. Finally working as intended in my opinion. My script is for the mpk261 but it'd be pretty simple to implement on the mpk25 if anybody is interested.
@florenceglen2 жыл бұрын
Hello, I am so glad you made this comment as I am having the same issue! I would like the option to either overdub or create a new cell recording but I don't know how to set that up with the pedal. Might you be able to help me? I have an AKAI MPK mini mkii. Thanks!
@neoncut Жыл бұрын
Ran into the same issue. This might be another way to solve it: * map your MIDI to the enter key * I used a free program called midiStroke to do this on Mac.
