Akai MPK Mini Live Performance - iPad GarageBand

My Akai MPK Mini just arrived, so i decided to make a small beat with it. I hope you enjoy it and as always hit that like button if you do. Oh, and i have a huge project in progress, you definitely want to check it out next week, it's going to be epic!

That is INSANELY SICK!!!! I gotta have one. I did my music the hard way, almost gave me a heart attack, from an iPHONE8 no instruments. Exhausting when your vision is already bad. Check my channel. Rock music not bad either.

you have to use the (annoying) MPK Mini Editor on your PC or Mac. Then map every pad to one note, for GarageBand and almost any other DWS it's a C for the kick, a D for the snare and a F# for the closed hi-hat.

@Craig Desmarais The presets are saved on the keyboard itself, after connecting it to the iPad, you don't have to open them in GarageBand. And don't worry, you'll get it soon!

WOW! This is an insanely good freestyle/improv clip. Seriously! Even if you had rehearsed this or composed it beforehand, its still good. I love that catchy/groovy mainstream pop or hip hop type beat which you fused with the electric guitar! Great combo. Good work. Liked the video, plus I will check out your other music. I think so, but due to the new lightning connector you have to use a separate adapter (can be found on Amazon), to connect the Camera Connection Kit with your iPad. Apple will probably release a Camera Connection Kit just for the Lighting soon, so you may want to wait for this to come out!

it does power the mpk although the iPad says it needs to much power. Just turn it off again or plug out/in the mpk!
