I just received my M32 yesterday and I can not wait to learn what I can do with it. At 51 it is like teaching an old dog new tricks. Love your videos.

The best thing about NI software with all its flaws, that's its pretty easy to learn. Make fun make beats!

I saw you’re poll the other day- and honestly I was surprised more people didn’t wanna see you do live beats/ performances. That’s the reason I followed you in the first place- you have an amazing vibe/ sound/ style I hope you keep doing that but I’ll follow you no matter what you decide to do more of

Maschine micro stood out for me a bit more among all the rest. May be it’s because using pads brings different approach than keys and it makes it sound different. Also love the screen on screen thingie and would really like to see a tutorial for that. Definitely would like to use it for some of my future beat play throughs on my instagram)

1:55 starts off with a sound and the beginning of a rift that I recognize from an old reggae album from about 10 years ago. It's not exactly the same but the first 7 notes are. "Some Way" Top Cat featuring Carlene C. I'm biased towards Komplete Kontrol as I use the S61. Out of the 3 on show if I had the M32 it would be my choice. I have a Mikro mark 2 but I only use it for finger drumming. I usually take my Maschine Jam on the road with my when I am away. I have an Akai MPK Mini but I rarely use it and only as a controller for Logic X nowadays if I am away from home

Liked all of them actually. But the ones where the camera is 'over the shoulder' are more relatable to watch - not seeing in 'upside down mode' as such.
@tarotaddicts46956 ай бұрын
They were all great, all the beats, put them all on. Then there is the question, is it convenient to make beats with a keyboard without pads? Idk the akai software or how one uses it but I LOVED working with maschine the software, even if it has flaws, it was easy to learn and as a non musician it was pretty easy to get started and create quite impressive things with it
@Taetro6 ай бұрын
I personally go do it all with just keys, but with only pads it would be more challenging for me (chords, melodies etc.)

Sorry about the super late response! I only found out about your channel recently from your Sanjay C collab. 2 questions, if you will: Which machine do YOU like the best? Price, feel, and space needed. Also, what screen are you using with the Komplete keyboard? Thx! Look forward to digging into your channel!!!

I don't know what to choose. I love anything you do man! Mhhhh. It's too hard. I might need to go with the Maschine Mikro Mk3. I simply love to see these types of controllers.

i bought maschine mikro mk3 on ebay but the seller didn't transferred the licence and i've lost his contact. I was wondering if buying a M32 and using its software it would be possible to activate somehow the mikro as well.

Is Novation launchkey mini mk3 or the akai mpk mini mk2 better - if you work with ableton live10? (why?)
@Lemonsoda4ever5 жыл бұрын
Nice video!! I've got a question, after watching your videos I see you recording your drums always in one take (snare, hihats, claps and kicks and so on). On live performing that makes totally sense, but when it comes to mixing I'm asking myself how you separate them. Do you put them on different channels in ableton afterwards or do you keep them as one midi clip? I'm coming from logic where I always record my drums channel by channel and I plan on trying out ableton. Thanks a lot!!
@Taetro5 жыл бұрын
So ableton makes this pretty easy. The drums are all in one clip, but you can expand a drum track and have access to each individual sound so you can adjust the level, pan, and add effects on individual drum sounds. There are occasions where I separate them, but not usually.

I have the Akai MPK Mini II, and am starting to have issues with the keys not working, and the programming for the pads has always seemed a bit more complicated than it should be. I use LOGIC Pro X, and lately i'm wondering if i should ditch the MPK and move into the Native Instruments fam. If i do though, I can't decide between the Maschine MK3 or or Mikro or Komplete M32 keyboard....do you need a combo of the two or can you do everything on one, that you can do on the other? what would you suggest?

Wow, I loved B of the mpk really thought it was good and liked how you gave it a Halloween vibe! I will be listening to the album def and would love to see how you did the video even tho I use different software it will still be a time to learn!

I don't think the visual part had anything to do with it. The last one with the Komplete simply was the best music of the four, followed by the one with the all black Akai. In other words, the 2nd and 4th ones. I know we all hear things a bit differently and that hearing is affected by age, exposure to loud noise, and even some over-the-counter medicines. I find music with too much mid-range is annoying, making me want to lower it with an EQ. The 1st and 3rd songs had too much mid-range.

@@ClicStudio Which song we like the most.I guess.. He calls its beats to the tracks or songs because it´s not a full song, it´s just a vibe, a sound., a group of beats.. Now I think i got it. Sorry dude, but these all sounded like background music for a free indie game. It's all random stock presets with stock-sounding tunes, no real effort behind them. Sorry but I gotta say it. The emphasis put on these "beats" made me cringe a little. They're nothing special
