This is what happens when a whole generation of music listeners are used to hearing music that has been quantised, chopped and manipulated via software. They have zero understanding about timing because they aren't accustom to playing with the beat for emphasis. I'm not mad you don't get it, I'm just really sad this is what music is now.

There are a million rappers spitting trash subject matter. Akala is one of the rare dudes spitting dope educational bars. I gotta give him his props for walking a unique path. It’s his thing and he’s authentic as a motherfucker. Just turn it off if you can’t connect with it. If you let your guard down and actually try to dissect the information in the bars it is dope as fuck and raw hip hop. The flow he’s doing might sound kinda wack but it’s a pretty typical drill flow where they are basically doing triplets over the beat. It can feel off kilter or rushed when you’re not familiar with it. ‘Dizzee Rascal 5 fingers of death’ is a good example of that flow too. We all so scared to learn about our past and the way corporations own us, we are doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past.

actually, that is not the way it should be. If a subscriber / someone who adds to the pay pot of these guys has recommended an artist. They OWE it out of nothing other than respect to listen to a song and then give their opinion at the end of it. This was a dumb immature video. Any business should put their customers to the very top tier. This was like watching 2 schoolboys
@tracyalbright54685 ай бұрын
So do we know that this was a PAID reaction request? Subscribing to a channel is no different than being a fan. We pay for an artists content but they aren’t always gonna drop a banger every single track. Eminem is cool and all but I don’t bump all his music because some is just not for me, and I certainly don’t “unsubscribe” to Em just because of it. If you have 10k subscribers and everybody puts in a request, is it unfair to the roughly 6 to 7 thousand people that don’t get to hear theirs? And is that Craig and Quis being disrespectful? No, thats just the reality of being one in thousands. And even if it was paid for, they were paid to give their honest opinion and reaction, we as “fans” should know there’s a 50/50 they will or won’t like it. It’s literally what we sign up for when we make those requests. The respect was there when they chose that song over only lord knows how many else they got in a list somewhere. And I 100% respect what they did, even if it had been myself that requested it. This whole video just demonstrates real life. You don’t like it, you don’t bump it. I myself can have this conversation without getting mad or feeling some type of way about anyone’s opinion on it. And that’s part of what I was saying, some people can’t. So many are losing respect for others opinions.

@@missyyoutube7145 first time hearing of him, so I didn't know anything about him. Lyrically he's fire, but a remix version on a different beat I think would be dope.

@shanemason4031 i don't see how they don't see that lol we literally gave him that in the video. Different beat and different flow its a difference. I really think he had that to a different beat and just tried to make the best of it

@@AlmostJokingPod yeah I was agreeing with you on the beat and flow, . We will have to see some of his other stuff, but definitely see the potential
