Bravo! This was awesome to see. Great job locating all these. I still haven't started up my Dallas binge yet, but after seeing this I really want to get started. -E

Thanks Eric! You should definitely watch Dallas- it’s free on IMDb channel and SO entertaining! But beware... once you get started, it’s hard to stop. The show wasn’t meant to be funny, but we find it hilarious! 😂 And of course, J.R. is an absolute scoundrel, lol!

Great job with the channel. I worked Valet at The North Dallas Marriot where the cast and crew stayed. I got to meet all of the cast at various times. One night, Larry Hagman forgot something in his car. He came out to the Marriot parking garage to retrieve the item. I had the keys and let him in. Ended up talking to him for a long time, really cool guy! I had to pinch myself, here I am with one of the most well known faces in the World at that time , in a parking garage in Dallas, just having a normal conversation with Larry!

That's amazing!! We've heard Larry was a very fun and friendly guy. What luck that you got to meet and talk with him! Thanks for stopping by our channel and sharing your memories. Season 6 coming soon!

Thanks Matt! We're doing the same thing, currently watching season 7. And we agree, it's hilarious! Between J.R.'s scheming, all the back-stabbing, slapping, and shenanigans... we're loving every drama-filled moment!

I actually think that scene at the Cotton Bowl was one of the best ever on the series, very dramatic and the way JR laid those zingers was just classic!
@Our80sLife3 жыл бұрын
Oh yes, lots of zingers! The dialogue in that scene is fantastic, but we wanted to see them fight, lol! I guess that was asking a bit much from Dusty (who'd only recently re-learned how to walk after his accident) and JR who, let's face it, can't fight worth a darn! 😂

Now I know where that waterfall was. Energy Center. Thanks for solving that question. I never felt sorry for Clayton Farlow. He always sponged free liquor at Southfork. In future episodes, please show where Cliff Barnes private parking spot was at the Campbell Centre. Amazing video. You really traveled a lot of miles for all of us.

Thanks Larry! Glad you enjoyed our latest video! We've got season 6 coming soon, then we'll have to plan another Dallas trip to film more. We're currently watching season 7, and we get excited whenever we find another new location to visit, ha!

Thanks so much!! Once we started watching Dallas and recognized SO many filming locations from my hometown, we felt compelled to share it. Now it's like this crazy mission to find them all, lol! I had no idea there was all this TV history surrounding me growing up in Dallas. It's been a blast!
@denis653 жыл бұрын
Fantastic as usual. I've been in the Meadows building many times, never knowing the it was Harv's building as well. I always wondered exactly where the Southern Cross was, now I know! Thanks again. I'll toast you with some pickle juice later today!!!
@Our80sLife3 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much!! Southern Cross Ranch was a bit of a trek from the Dallas metroplex, but it's a beautiful place. No wonder they wanted to film in Forney! If you ever drive out there, we recommend Eno's Pizza Tavern. After filming that scene, we stopped there and had a fabulous lunch. It's on the same road as Southern Cross, which by the way, isn't as rural as it looks on TV. It's actually a pretty busy road with neighbors on all sides. Gotta love that TV magic! Cheers :)

Love these videos and would love to see them for the TNT series as well as most of those locations would be the same today

Thanks Wesley! We've got a long way to go before we get into the TNT series, but we're definitely looking forward to watching that. Currently watching season 7.

Another great video guys, can I ask though, where was Sue Ellen’s town house?…is it close to Energy Square/The Village?
@Our80sLife2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Sue Ellen’s town house is actually over in the Highland Park area (near the best shopping, great location!) The address is 4101 Emerson Ave.

Was the Cady or Kady Building, (the Wentworth Tool and Dye) Building also the same building where Sue Ellen went to see her shrink in season 3 and part of 4? Have been re watching old episodes and that building looked familiar from older seasons.
@Our80sLife2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching our video! I remember the building you're talking about, but I don't think it's the same one. I believe that particular establishing shot was actually a building in L.A. that they used in multiple seasons. Sometimes they were known for reusing opening shots like that. As far as I know, the Katy Building exterior was just used in this season.

BTW, I feel in my opinion, Clayton Farlow would have made best choice of man for Miss Ellie a long time ago.

Where was the Cattlemen’s Club located?
@Our80sLife2 жыл бұрын
The Cattlemen's Club was located at 4851 LBJ Freeway. The building is no longer there. We visited the former location in our season 4 video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWq2lX-efruBY9E

Do you guys know of any interesting filming around grapevine?
@Our80sLife2 жыл бұрын
Not that we’re aware of. Dallas didn’t film there. We haven’t researched filming locations for Walker Texas Ranger, which was filmed all over the DFW area.
