I would flip the office and the powder room and bring the powder room forward toward the hallway. Then the space behind it becomes a large storage closet accessible through the office. It also then brings the plumbing onto a shared wall with the laundry. The center hallway in the front of the house wastes square footage. Open the kitchen wall, relocate the refrigerator and make an island for those that would want an open floor plan feel. With the powder room moved that would be ideal. The pantry door may have to be moved around the corner to make it happen. A door out of the laundry room to a garage would work well for those of us in a cold snowy climate.

I do love this home 🏡. This is my dream home. It has all that I want to. The pantry, the study room/office and the walk-in closet are spacious. The front and side porches are also spacious. Very well and detailed design. Thanks for sharing 👍.

I really like this house. I love that the closet of the primary suite is not in the bathroom. I would like a garage or carport, but not lose the grilling porch. I could live without it if I had to because to me the floor plan is perfect. Thank you for sharing.

What more could you want! There was a butler’s pantry, separated entrance way, covered back, and front porch. Only one space is lacking and that is a garage for two cars (attached to the house). Wow, awesome space.😊

a very beautiful and not so 'small' american bungalow - love the separation of public (front rooms) and private (bedrooms) areas - loved the master bath with both tub and shower but would want a full sized (british sized) tub. Great that is has lots of veranda'd areas too to keep cool in summer and these days a study is very important. Might have tweaked the kitchen/Pantry area a bit so that awkward rear entry/pantry door and kitchen unit sides were less tight looking - just take a tiny bit of space from the pantry and put that run of units flush to the wall? Finally really great to have that neat drop zone by the front door and side access utility room too.

Beautiful home. 2518.8 sf x $200 per square foot = Approximately $500,000, plus $75,000 for a lot. Outside my budget, but still a very nice home.

Just note if you like the house snd it’s out of your budget just settle for the same house but a smaller sq. Footage which makes it affordable.

I LOVE THIS DESIGN!!! It has all the amenities I need. The front and side porches, the butler's pantry, the study, the laundry room...The only thing I would change is a larger window in the study, and put a walk-in jacuzzi tub in the Master Bathroom. Okay, so maybe an outdoor fireplace and TV on the side porch. Maybe the TV could be hidden in a compartment behind the fireplace and only rise up when needed, so the view is left intact. What do you think, huh?

Of course, there would be a few tweaks to make it 100% perfect for us, including a two car garage, but that could easily be placed attached to the back part of the house and entering the house through the laundry room. You would only block the window in the current Mstr.Bed bathroom, which could easily be replaced with a solar tube. The other changes I would make to make it perfect for us is to turn it into a two bedroom, with the new master being the two bedrooms and bathroom. By adding a double door in the hallway, you could use one bedroom for a closet and storage, leave the bath as is, and use the last bedroom for sleeping. That gives us a house that makes sense for two retired people. I would rather have a guest suite and a hall powder room; that’s all we would need. Finally, I would like a closet installed where the bench and hooks were at the front door. Here in Canada, we get four distinct seasons which requires a lot of outerwear. As far as design elements, I really don’t pay attention to them as I am looking at the home’s structure. While the furniture and decor elements help a lot of people to understand rooms - and I have seen a few design ideas here and there that I have pinched - it is absolutely up to the homeowner to come up with the final design or hire a professional to work with them. Beautiful job!

I like this house design, but there are a few exceptions. I do not like the panels on the windows. I like windows without the panels on them. The same goes for the doors. For the master bathroom, I prefer a door for the toilet area. And I don't like the design of the shower in the master bathroom and the second bathroom. However, the tub in the master bathroom is gorgeous 😊. The walk-in closet for the master bedroom needs to be bigger 😊 I would like to have a comfortable seating area in the closet. The kitchen needs to have a beautiful island. I love the pantry area behind the kitchen. There needs to be a butler pantry with a prep area and sink for the Master Chef use😊 I love love, love, the outdoor kitchen area, and the front porch! Overall, the design of the home is lovely. I look forward to seeing more house designs!😊🩷

It’s very nice. However, the master bedroom needs more wall space for furniture. I would change the closet doors to a single door to give wall space for my highboy. Also, that bench in the entrance is really cute, but an actual closer is more practical

The all of the bathrooms - I would never have the toilet facing the door, it does not in the master bath. It is not esthetically pleasing and puts the water pipes in an outside wall. In colder climates there is a higher risk of frozen pipes. Otherwise, the house is gorgeous!

Please tell me why architects don’t plan for a closet for vacuums, brooms mops, etc. Don’t say the cabinets in the laundry room are for that purpose. Since I didn’t see a linen closet, I’m assuming that’s what those cabinets are used for. Also, hate the bedroom closets. Don’t you realize many women have long dresses? You can’t hang them in those closets.

I like the floor plans, but I don't like the shiny laminate paneling in the bathrooms! I would really like more plans like this and others to have a two car attached garage option. There's so much I do like about this one, but my favorites are still the ones with the screened in rooms off the master bedroom! Could you show some with windows instead of screens? Thanks for posting!
