Just an update! For those experiencing the same issue as me, frames will cut out with video recording which results in a choppy video with horrible audio delay. I have found the solution! I tried anything you can think off, firmware update/downgrade, micro SD formatting, using all possible settings such as video encoding etc. The only thing that fixed my issue was to USE MICRO SD CARD THAT AKASO RECOMMENDS (Samsung 64GB 100MB/s (U3) MicroSDXC EVO Select Micro SD Card). I tried using all varieties of micro SD cards (Kingston, San Disk) ensuring all were class 10, yet using the Samsung EVO only works for me!

We I am using the sd card that Akaso recommends and there is still an audio/video out of sync issue. Akaso needs to address this quickly otherwise they will be getting a ton of returns.

WORTH IT OR NOT? That’s really unfortunate. Great that this worked for me but horrible that the problem persists 😩

@@EcFlipz Try recording a 5 minute video clip in 4K, talking the entire time, then copy the video from the sd card into your computer and play it back, you will notice towards the end that the audio is out of sync with your video. What firmware are you using on yours?
@EcFlipz5 жыл бұрын
@@WORTHITORNOT I tested today and I don't seem to have audio delay after 5 mins luckily. I bought the camera recently so I had the V50X-FX-20190813-V1.0 but I downgraded to V50X-FX-20190806-V1.0 while I was trouble shooting and kept it even since. Lets hope my testing wasn't one off and continues to work properly.

Not bad footage, the 4K came out more stable then I thought it would of. On my 5K retinal screen the footage is pretty decent. That says alot considering I fly 3 of dji's 4K drones. Wow continue to have fun with that setup. I love my bugs 3 mini but haven't rigged up anything to put my osmo pocket on it yet. I've been looking at your Akaso V50x vids and I believe it to be totally worth a hundred bucks. Strap it to a bugs 3 and off you go with a setup that IMHO looks as good as the new zino 2.

I was surprised the sale lasted as long as it did, it was only to be for a few hours but they did it for 4-5 days and $84.99 is a FANTASTIC price for what you get. If it goes back on sale, I will make a post in the community section again about it.

Just received my Akaso V50 pro SE. Over the moon. Bought the landing gear to add to my bugs 2SE drone and then will be able to add the 4K camera. But i think the Akaso SE is a bit heavy. Might have to buy a lighter 4K camera. What can you recommend Andre ?

The Firefly 8S ( not SE) fits perfectly or like in this video the V50X is light and takes very nice 4K video with EIS to take out the Bugs 3 jitters.

For $84 (when it was on sale) is a fantastic price, audio sucks on this camera (very quiet/muffled) but nothing a second mic and recorder can't fix. The 4K image quality is not the best, but not bad.

@@WORTHITORNOT Definitely usable though, nice stabilization, although that might be Ambarella's feat. I'm playing a gig on drums with a band in a bar on Saturday, after at least a decade of abstinence ... Well now that's the stuff Andre! First person on YT to do this I bet 😊 Now, are you shooting in h.265? Both me and the wife, and the nine year old, agree h.265 looks better. And WDR does work... can expose a lot of detail in foreground shadow, and is worth experimenting with anyway. I've noticed people using the V50X for interior car shots should at least center the light meter, or spot meter, rather than use the average setting. Some pluses I like: All the functions are accessible via long/short button presses... ALL, even underwater. Two large batteries, with charging dock... can still be charged in camera whilst using! Bright IPS touchscreen. Even though the audio needs boosting at least it doesn't sound like the inside of a seashell. 2K@60fps looks great too. Has not overheated yet. High bitrate h.265. Will have external mic. + I reckon we were the first in Oz to get one... kudos 😜 For it's price you can't expect everything but still it's an outstanding value budget action VIDEO camera. My phone is better for stills. Cheers.
