I was actually originally planning to make a Resident Evil 4 style murder drones game back in March, with N as Leon and V as ashley, it had great potential but episode 5 dropped out of nowhere and I had to change my plan.

I'd even take a metroidvania. No idea how it would work but I can easily imagine some of the characters powers being upgrades you can find, both attacks and traversal things. Imagine you play as Uzi, and at some point in the late game you find her sick as hell railgun(tm) as a high damaging ability that requires a high amount of whatever the resource would be in order to use. Her solver wings could allow for double jump, though at the moment I'm not sure what other abilities she could in the game. Edit: Her solver tail as a light source for dark areas apparently.
