Thank you for watching and your support! Glad to hear that you found a new place to explore in Atlanta and hopefully you will enjoy this area. If you have not already, make sure to check out the Indian Trail East Palisades across the river as well. Cheers and stay tuned for more places to hike in Atlanta and beyond. Cheers!

Hit most of this hike w/ my 4-year old this week and had a great time. Made it through most of the trails in the Northern section of West Palisades and will definitely go back to do the rest. Really enjoy these videos to scope out some of the CRNRA trails so I know what we're getting into before bringing the little guy to the woods.

Awesome! Glad to hear that you have had a chance to check this area out. Have you been to the East Palisades? That is definitely one of my favorite spots for sure. Almost every trailhead is on my channel so hope that is helpful. Thanks for watching and the support!

I guess they wanted to make their point right? In this area, there is a rock/cliff people jump from. When they release the dam, the current gets crazy and people die here every year. Guess this place might be haunted too! Either way, this area is definitely worth checking out if you live in the Atlanta area for sure. Hope you two are doing well my friend! Cheers

@@MetroOnTheMove I was kayaking down the ocmulgee river one time and that happened they released the dam at Jackson Lake it was intense lol

@@NickandRachel I bet it made the Kayaking trip fun though! This is one of the few areas within the CRNRA that has good rapids. Can only imagine what it would be like when the dam is released.

This is another great spot within the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area! To the right of this trail is the famous jumping rock where tins of people jump into the hooch. A must see! Senior Hiker 77 gave The Old Crow Hiking Show a shout out in the last video from FDR. Check it out!! Thanks for watching and your support my friend!

I accidentally took the same "right turn" there about a month ago. Definitely would rate it as aggressive. LOL. You made it further than I did. I spent the night on Yonah Mountain last night because of your previous video. Thank you for all your great suggestions.
@MetroOnTheMove4 жыл бұрын
Awesome! Thank you for the feedback on the videos as I try to share the best places so others can experience them for themselves. How was Yonah? Was it packed with campers? That right turn was intense, especially since the heat was still intense in Georgia during this time. Thank you for the support my friend! Cheers

@@MetroOnTheMove I was nervous hiking up, based on your experience, that the place would be filled up before i could find a spot. Thankfully there were only 3 small groups - all very friendly and quiet - with a couple of sweet and well-behaved dogs. It was a little overcast at sundown but the sunrise was spectacular and worth the whole trip. One of my best hiking experiences this year. Thanks again, bother!

We just started exploring this area! Saw the ruins and bamboo but wow what a neat sandy beach. Not sure we would make it out there with the littles, it looked intense. The river is also so calm on that side. Out on the 👣 trails- so much to see. Really enjoyed this one. ♡ were you at indian trails yesterday?

Great video! We were wondering if you've seen that two travel bloggers got fined over $1K for filming in a video in a national park. The NPS said that, since their channel was monetized, it was considered commercial filming and that they needed a permit which they didn't get. We're not monetized yet but it's making us reconsider filming in the Smoky Mountains National Park where we live. Any thoughts?
