So...I really can't express this enough to my fellow musicians and podcasters etc. If you do any home recording, or mixing, the Sennheiser HD 206s are BANGING budget headphones. My only complaint would be is that they are a little quiet for pro studio use. But home recording/mixing use? Really balanced frequencies. Audiophiles will notice they can be a little shrill on the top end and the bass is a little under-represented...But you can still hear everything! Really nice for mixing vocal stems, which I've done a lot with these headphones since March 2021. Along with mixing guide tracks for my band. For £25...I have used them consistently. I only just realised how long I've been using them. I've been using them constantly for over a year. And the leather around the ears are still intact. They are really light and comfortable to wear. I've had them on for 3 hours, went to go to the toilet and tripped over the wire forgetting I had them on. The 3m wire attached is a nice touch for recording or home media (films sound great in them too), but rubbish for using on the go. So bare that in mind. And they came with a 3.5mm - big Jack gold plated converter too. Which helped with plugging into my Behringer U-Phoria UMC22 interface. Another little bargain. I can't recommend them enough for home recording or home media viewing. Genuinely amazing value and quality headphones. Bargain. You won't find anything better in the UK for that price. You're spending 3-4 times the price for a reasonable upgrade in quality. Genuinely perfect for beginners and pirate Fruity Loops users.

I like the level of detail you gave when comparing the two. I am using the HD 206 and really loving it, extremely comfortable and easy to use. The AKG looks like another budget king too, though I would prefer the shape of the HD 206's cups as it does not touch my ear.

Imbought a pair of hd206 5 years ago and lasted pretty good and the sound was amazing, so I bought some new ones 3 months ago. I quickly notice the sound quakity is a lot worst than the old ones and they reduce the quality of materials aswell, the cables on my new 3 months old swnhwisee peeled in various places

Yes buddy, I am a Music composer my self. And there are multiple type of consumer each looking out for different things. I have shared my views as per my usage experience, it might help some consumers and for some it wont help. It all depends on what you are looking for. Thank you.
