Gosh... there are some very 'heavy', unbelievably judgemental and harsh comments on this thread. Instead of being so critical, condemning this artist for her personal views, just stop and look at these paintings... They are simply beautiful, full of care, and true labours of love. That is a huge effort in expression of light and colour and diversity. Love is the foundation of the Universe, with no boundaries, colour, creed or religious definitions. It is only man that makes these 'boxes' that suffocate all that is good - just like some of the cruel and nasty comments. Just look, at what is right in front of your eyes. A simply, amazing gift. Thank you Akiane, for sharing the beauty of your consciousness, talents, effort and, kindness.

I have met a painter in Australia she painted just as well. She entered a spiritual trance to paint and her paintings although spiritual, her paintings were certainly not pictures from God. In this case I'm not sure she knows fully where it is from, although Akiane says it's God. She certainly did not declair it is from God/Jesus. It is what it is. (Matthew 24vs24)

I can't speak about the trance painter you mentioned but everything about this young lady's story has only served to glorify Christ and has brought very positive attention to Jesus in the form of the miraculous. Just the fact that Jesus entered her life when she had no outside knowledge of him is a testament in itself of Christ's power & love. Her meekness, innocence, & loving heart(without prejudice) were like fertile soil for the Holy Spirit to plant itself in. These are the very qualities of the Holy Spirit Itself. The fact that she's non denominational takes nothing away from the power of the message that Jesus worked through her. God Bless!

Consider Jehovah witness and the Mormons and the Catholics having a form of Godliness but without its power all divided in what they preach and teach. Jesus said I am the way the truth and life. Scripture itself tells us to test the spirits as God/ Jesus was fully devine and fully human. How often have you heard that Jesus is the only way, the only truth, and the only way to heaven in these clips ? Accept it or don't its up to you. Jesus is both the Lion and the Lamb and will not put up with mans ignorance or lack of knowledge forever. The whole world will be shaken and shake with fear before the return of our Lord. Miracles do nothing to save, they mearly point to Jesus the savior. Where does her money go ? Is her gift distributed to the poor or helping the widows or broken or sick ? Or is her kingdom being built on earth ? Consider those fruits. I don't know if she's truely saved or not but I suspect not because of her own words in another clip and we are told not to seperate the wheat from the tares but I do not hear the words of a saved sinner in Akaine. Yet what she does not know I cannot condem her for. People follow blind guides to there own destruction. Jesus is the way the truth and life and nobody gets to the Father except through Him. I'm not suggesting Akaine is doing anything knowingly evil but I do suggest you need to cast a more critical eye and get your head into the scriptures. The person whom commented at the top suggests that only God could inspire such paintings that is simply not true.

If we translate 'water' to other languages we would get the word equivalent to water in that language, just like that GOD is translated in many religions which may follow different path but lead up to the same God. I would say I agree with you, but I don't think it's about watching television all together, I would say it's about what you watch on television. You can mute ads and change the channel. Heck, today, you don't have to watch television. You can choose what you watch online and have more control over what you view. The radio, also, isn't always bad. Same thing. It's about what you choose to listen to. It's the same of books or any other form of media. I can read really trashy books or choose something that will edify me. The power is mine to choose what I put into myself.

The world needs more people like Akiane, and "architects of peace." We can never have too many. If "God" is the way to do it, then more power to her and this world we live in. After watching her interview, I feel she has an amazing talent, but most importantly a sense of peace in her life. I think what shocks me is how many comments have such negative overtones too them. The religious zealots that claim she isn't Christian and/or a fraud. All I can hear is their anger and unhappiness with their own lives. I feel so sorry for them. I think if the world was filled with more people like Akinia, it would be a great place....peaceful, spiritual and enlightened. The Christians talk about the antichrist and satan and not following the bible, but so many of them are very angry and close minded. It amazes me how her painting called "Prince of Peace" is reportedly the exact same way Jesus actually looks like. In the book, "Heaven Is For Real" (movie coming out around Easter 2014), the child, three year old, Colton, died and went to Heaven. Long story short, after his experience, his father kept pointing to paintings and drawings of what people thought Jesus looked like and asked Colton if that's what Jesus actually looked like. His response was always 'no' UNTIL he came to Akiane's painting, "Prince of Peace" and he said that that was exactly how Jesus looks. Wow! I definitely believe that Akiane is inspired by God through her paintings. She is truly a gifted and talented child prodigy sent by God to use her for HIS glory! If only we could all be so humble and allow God to work through us the way this young lady has!

What a beautiful young woman Akiane is! However, the talent is, as she says, not of her but channelled from a spirit source. For believers in Jesus, alarm bells will always ring when spirits contact children, unsolicited. The advice the apostle John gives is: "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world". 1 John 4:11-3. I'm so sorry to hear all these negative comments Akiane. There are many narrow minded people and judgmental people in this world who cannot understand what they themselves cannot see. They should not judge someone else's experiences because they are not experiencing it. Someone cannot proclaim theirs is the only truth when there are many truths in this life. These gifts are in no way evil. Some are just scared of that which they cannot understand. Akiane is on the path to enlightenment and is a beautiful soul. I also have the gift of visions and prophecies. I had a talk with Jesus once who sat down with me in the heavens and told me that there is many ways to "heaven". (I call it enlightenment) but yes he is one of the ways, and sometimes the only way to some people, but not to all. He showed me a chess board and if you are on one side of the board, and the only move you have to make to get to heaven is not a possible move, how is that fair and just? God is love and the Source of all life, God does not condemn, we condemn ourselves, and each other. You want there to be a hell, then believe in it enough, and it will be. If you want to believe you will go to heaven then believe in it, and it will be. Our fears manifest, our joys manifest that which we put our thoughts and creations into. Akiane is creating a beautiful universe with her paintings. More than she probably realizes. Call me crazy, I don't care what you think. I am beyond the pettiness of accusations. You really explained very well that whatever religion we may foĺlow there is only one God. Some call it Jesus some call it Brahma and some call it Buddha. If we translate 'water' to other languages we would get the word equivalent to water in that language, just like that GOD is translated in many religions which may follow different path but lead up to the same God. This narrow minded people who want to form a barrier between religions were the reason why l chose to be an athiest. I think another thing that is amazing is that she donates money to charity. She gets it!!!! and at such a young age. But again, there are a ton of people tearing the poor girl apart....amazing. Lewnisun A child is truly an open instrument to the spiritual realm. Children that talk with imaginary friends are scoffed at and I believe that these are Guardian Angels. I am old but I am alive. This woman mocked your Lord and His children and stole my own life story. I truly had a vision during my toddler years around 4 y.o. It is publicly showed for many years. I was singing the Lourdes Ave Maria. I was not taller than the sofa pillows. He had the most beautiful face. Yes, I was very poor. I'm the only child of my parents and we lived in poverty. I had one pair of shoes a year and kept my eyes on it placing my little shoes side to my pillow at night to not loose them. Yes, I started drawing at about the 4-5 y.o. to show my mom things I saw and perceived in nature. Yes, I do have a "personal" relation with G_D and He came to me in the clouds of Heaven, yes, I grabbed my small old camera to take photos and of Him before sundown. I was crying because people do not think of Him but everything else in their churches and never about him and His omnipotent power. I asked Him when He was coming back to tell people Who He Is because they do not know Him. Suddenly the skies changed the clouds moved and swirled He was there. I have the pictures which I am showing people for years to get to know G_D as He Is as he commended me. Yes, I paint since 5 years old to show my parents what I see. I'd like to say one word to some few narrow-minded protestants who criticize her : any work of love, peace or beauty in this world is a way for God to express himself in the middle of mankind. God is love, and love is God. Akiane expresses Love in her art. As a result, she verily expresses God himself. Meanwhile, you, fanatics, you, when you are criticizing such works of peace made by people who do not share your narrow-minded vision of life (you childishly think that anything that is not present in the letter of the Bible is bad and doen't come from God), you are actually going against Love, that is Christ himself. Any person who expresses Love and Benevolence in his life actually expresses Christ in his life and believes in him, even if he doesn't call him Christ, even if he belongs to another religion, even if he claims to be non-religious. Your criticism doesn't come from the God of love, but from error, you don't think with your heart, you are blind, you don't think with the true Christ, but you use the idea of Christ to satisfy your desire to get the power to influence people and to impose on them your narrow visions of life. You criticize those who are trying to express the Love-God around them, whereas YOU are lacking of this love and YOU fail to express it. You constantly attack the so-called new age spirituality while it is likely that it is far more closer from the love and tolerance of God and from the gospels than your loveless, intolerant, barren and narrow-minded views. Reincarnation (with hundreds of years in the kingdom of God between each lives) is indeed more likely to be true, and the resurrection is actually the resurrection of a part of the spiritual body not of our putrefacted heap of bones and worms : The Great third century theologian and Saint Origen of Alexandria understood this point very well. He interpreted and comprehended the entirety of the Bible in a very matured way with the help of the Holy Spirit, undoubtedly. The mere litteral interpretation of the Bible leads to countless absurdities. However Christ forgives you fully! As he is the Love, the Love that dwells in every person. The one who speaks about Love speaks about God ( even if he doesn't say the word GOD), and a person who values love above all things actually believes in Christ, even if he doesn't know the word "Christ" and even if he still doesn't understand it is the best word to use to qualify this great love. Don't judge her from one interview. If you watch other interviews and her videos and listen to her tell her story, you will find that she is in fact a believer and has been taught by the Holy Spirit Himself. Her life and calling is extraordinary. No one gave her any salvation tracks. And I would guess she did not respond to an altar call, either. She has known Jesus from an early age. Check it out🙂 I have been following this young lady off and on for years. God has used her gift to encourage me many times. We believers are all parts of the body of Christ. We are all parts...with different functions. Let's be careful not to jump to conclusions too quickly without knowing all the facts. And by the way, how is a Buddhist going to know anything about the love of Christ if they never get to come close to someone who does? Just saying.

I like her non-denominational stance. Many people equate God to religion. It might sound absurd but, it happens and happens a lot. She seems to believe that their are many paths to God, perhaps as many as their are people on Earth. If religion is understood as it really is, a method or process for accelerating spiritual growth, then it can be very effective. If those espousing a religion focus on the joy of connecting with God then, the religion can be effective. If it is used only to scare the hell out of you, then count me out.

Indeed. Just look at the denominational confrontation between truthdisciple and helena lenham on this page. Helena Lenham even resorted to veiled threats that God told her that anyone who curses her will be cursed. An interesting conversation for me (being an ex-pentecostal christian) but so typical of the back biting and "NO, YOU'RE WRONG!" attitudes that prevail in Christianity today. I do find some things about this girl curious and some have mentioned that; in particular, how much money goes to charities etc. Most people-from ramana maharshi to bankei to meister eckhart-tend to have little to no interest in money except for meeting their daily needs (indeed, many don't even bother with that). But she seems to be getting rich; having employees; owning a business. She can do what she likes, of course, and that's fine, but I do find it slightly dubious that she'd go down the path of the big dollars if she'd 'had contact' with God/YHWH/Shiva/Isvara as being in constant communion with them would probably be enough; it certainly seems to have been the case with most saintly people throughout the ages. I babbled a bit there. My apologies. Oh, one more thing. Heh. I like on her website where it states she's incredibly humble then, a few sentences later, it's stated that she creates masterpieces. I did get a giggle out of that. Anyway, I'll shut my trap now.

Bath Cat Yeah, I wonder about the money aspect but, without a certified copy of her financials, I cannot comment. Even further, I don't know what her intentions are with the money she has accumulated. It may take a sizable bank account to start some project she has in mind. As far as your observation regarding a connection with God and not needing anything else, that would make sense except that some consciously avoid that deep level of connection to be in a position to assist others on their path of spiritual growth. It may be a form of sacrifice. Take the Dalai Lama as an example. He was asked what he would like to do if he weren't the Dalai Lama. He said, he would like to spend much more time in meditation which, we could interpret as being connected or in communion with God, the universal soul or however one wants to see it. He really missed the joy and peace that meditation brought but, felt it a duty to assist others on their path as the Dalai Lama. As far as her comment regarding Masterpieces, mostly what I have seen is her referencing God as the inspiration and source of her abilities. From what I have seen, I can forgive her a little vanity.

Bath Cat Veiled threats? How interesting. :-) Actually, all I did was refer to the Bible and ask people to do the same. If that's a veiled threat to you, then so be it. Please don't look to Akiane's Jesus for your salvation, because she is not a Christian. She believes in reincarnation and past lives, and sees Jesus as an Ascended Master as found in Hinduism, not as God Incarnate and the only Son of God as He is defined in the Bible. The Bible is what defines Christianity. If you call yourself a Christian, you ought to make it a goal to learn what it says by reading it for yourself rather than taking anyone's word for it. Unfortunately, many people are so demonized that they can't get past the first page of the Bible without falling asleep or getting distracted due to demonic oppression, because many portions of the Bible are actually very exciting to read once the demonic veil that keeps us from understanding it is lifted. But sadly, without prayers to God our Heavenly Father for protection from demonic oppression, which takes a basic faith in the One True God to begin with, demons have free reign to deceive and delude us as much as possible. Though many unsaved people deny it, demons do exist, and they can keep the unsaved from understanding and absorbing the truths in the Bible. Demons do this because the words of the Bible are life to the hearer, and they don't want anyone to be given everlasting life because they hate us, and want us to perish with them in Hell. That is why the Bible says we do not fight against flesh and blood, but against dark spiritual principalities and powers, and spiritual deception in high places. We are in a spiritual war, and we need the Holy Spirit to be saved from the dark prison where evil reigns in our hearts, and the hearts of others who aren't saved. This is what is behind the democratic idea of liberty and freedom. We are not given liberty and freedom to do as we wish, but freedom from SIN, and the liberty to live as God wills when we are faithful to Him, Freedom from sin is a gift of God to anyone who accepts Christ as their Savior. But the Spirit of God is not given and spiritual darkness that causes us to sin is not lifted until people accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. There is no other way to be saved or to be freed from demonic strongholds that enslave us to sin. Belief in the real Jesus of the Bible is essential, so please ask Jesus into your life and heart today, and ask Him to free your heart and mind from demonic influences so that you can read and understand the Bible, and then learn to follow Jesus in Spirit and in truth.
