We had a small alley parking area for 3 cars once, one for each apartment. I worked 2nd shift, and one night I came home around 1 am to a car in my spot. Engine cold, no lights on at either neighbor. So I hooked my logging chain to it, dropped my big truck into 4 low, and dragged it a couple blocks away and left it in the middle of the street. Never saw that car again!

also, the parking-in-front-of-a-hydrant thing? yeah, lotsa places in the US, the fire dept will smash out your windows like that to run their hoses, and if you call the cops, the cops will arrest the car's owner for interfering with rescue personnel - just wave at the nice firemen until they're done and call safelite.

Many years ago, when bumpers were solid steel, I parked my Oldsmobile in the end parking spot next to an intersection at my college. When I returned, someone's small car had snuggled up to my front bumper, blocking me in. I gently used my bumper to push the car out of my way, and it now blocked the access road to faculty parking. I can only speculate as to how that student's status changed at the college.

I remember a few weeks ago me and my family were coming back from going out to dinner and our neighbors weren't home but some lady just parked in our neighbors' spot (which is illegal parking) so we parked right in front and then my mom texted our neighbors to block this ladies car in, our neighbors got the text when they got back they parked right behind trapping the ladies car and when the lady got back my sister roasted her, the lady said that where she comes from you could park your car where ever you wanted, i am fully convinced that lady is from a parallel universe where you could park where ever the hell you wanted because i don't know of any place on earth where you can park Illegally.

4:14 - Just need to let people know, that is from towtrucker's YT channel, a lot of his vids are for tows on cars that are parked within complexes which code enforcement have told the complexes to deal with because the properties can be the one fined for expired tagged vehicles being on their property. 6:20 - That is something you can be actually in trouble with the law for within the UK, even if the car is parked on your property, you cant actually remove it from your property if you dont own the vehicle.

I have heard of this in the UK. I would deal with it in a different way. I would find out where they live, and deal with it in a fashionable manner. Simple matter of running the plate/tag or just looking at their car registration from their glove box. I have had to track people down this way for debts owed, so this does work.

I like this suggestion, because it doesn't damage the car but causes great inconvenience. I thought about spraying a blob of paint on the windshield. It can be removed with the proper solvent without permanent damage, but is very inconvenient.

Best one I ever saw was a new top of the line sports car parked across three spaces in a very busy mall at Christmas! Bikers look heir revenge by parking their motorcycles all around the car in the two end spaces. There were about ten Harleys in each spot and a large sign saying back at midnight! ( It was just before 8 in he morning when I saw the vehicles. While in a he mall I heard announcements several times asking people o move if heir motorcycles. When I left the mall, after working m extended shift the car and motorcycles were still thete. The next day the security guard said the bikes left at midnight but it was 6 am when the cars driver came back and moved his car, cussing out he mall.

On illegally parked cars next to fire hydrants, i say what the firemen do to the cars should be considered ILLEGAL. Especially when they do it for absolutely no reason other than to destroy somebodys car on purpose. I mean sure the car is illegally blocking the fire hydrant especially 50/50 chance if a fire actually happens in the area while the car is there. I mean a prime example of why it should be illegal is just a few weeks ago somebody posted a video of how the fire department destroyed his car windows to stick the hoses in, even though the car itself was practically parked 10-15 feet AWAY from where the fire hydrant actually was. The video shows that the car wasn’t parked ‘next’ to the fire hydrant, it was NOWHERE even CLOSE to blocking it on ANY side. Yet the some fire fighter took one look at the 10-15 feet away parked car, decided it was still ‘too close’ and still smashed the windows and they stuck the hoses through it to reach the 10-15 away fire hydrant. In the end it miraculously turned out they really didn’t need to break the windows, because the cars location stretched out the hoses and made them kink up in the windows so they wound up taking the hoses out and booking them up to the hydrant the way they should have tried FIRST before wrecking a defenseless car that wasn’t even illegally parked next to the hydrant

@@tonidoyle6951 It's because it's too much work. I am not alright right now (grieving), but hear me out: People HATE work. So why not under, over, why not go straight thru? That's easy. Forget the drivers who suffer, they want the easy way out...... But think about it. Putting that big, thick yellow hose on top of, say, a Tesla (one of those ones with the fragile T-Tops), might cause damage up there. Meanwhile, putting the hose under the car causes either the car to be jacked up unnecessarily, which may cause injury when it comes back down, or the hose bursts from the weight of the car as it inflates. So....the firefighters' ignorance, plus the driver's stupidity for parking in front of a hydrant to begin with, then all these naggily safety measures (safety in quotes), leads to firefighters breaking windows and getting people in trouble. Also don't forget that you're not supposed to be parked in front of it. I am not mentally sound, so I could be mistaken in areas! If so, do correct me!

If they were rich (think CEO of some corporation) and you damaged their car, they might sue you, but if they sue you for their illegal parking, they've hooked an L.
